Re: Billy Bonds, the Guardian .. and me
Billy Bonds was great for us but why should he be revered the same as other clubs. Yes he played a long time but never got an England cap. West ham were a pretty crap team when he played except for the 2 FA cup wins we were shit in the league (nothing changes).

Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
Was made aware of this recently. Listened to it. I think it's horrible. Lost all restraint and subtlety that that original had. A cover version that in my opinion is nowhere near as good as the original. Shame because I'm sure they could have done better but I'm sure this is what their fanbase like...

Re: Former England and Premier League footballer arrested on suspicion of attempted rape
narrowed it down a bit, fill your boots. Link: England WC-Squad 2010 (COYI - re-post, it wasn't aimed at you personally, apologies) So did I but the mods removed my post. The person I assume also lives in Essex so that narrows it down further. I'd remove any of the northern based players at the ti...

Re: Robin Smith is out for 62
I remember the 175 against WI in Antigua. . I think he only did one Ashes tour with a one 50 scored. Pretty crap.
Still RIP Judge.

Re: Robin Smith is out for 62
Another cricket suicide maybe? A very high rate in this sport. Really? I can only think of Graham Thorpe and Johnny Barstow's old man. What other cricketers have topped themselves then? For a sport so dedicated to statistics, cricket's darkest numbers are misleading Maybe then I've been mislead.

It's definitely not Ashley, Cole, John Terry. Johnson or Fat Frank.

Re: CRAPAQUETA
I alluded to it on the match thread. Some of the decisions against him have been beyond harsh this season. The first yellow he got today is just not a yellow for an other player. No chance. You see players literally shout fuck off at refs and get no punishment. He just threw his arm in the air in f...

Not sure if there was an album between Surfin Safari and Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys but they are very different with Pet Sounds incorporating Spectre's Wall of Sound.

He already had been before that, he wrote See You years before its release and it charted higher than any Vince song More than Just Can't Get Enough? JCGE - 8 See You - 6 "'he wrote See You years before its release'' I think he's lying. Remember everyone thought they were finished when Clarke...

Enjoyed The Beast in me. Going to start All her fault, I’ve heard it’s VG. All her fault is very good. Stick wiith it, as at times it does get a bit slow and you start to get a bit bored, but then a WTF moment hooks you in. Think I saw the whole thing in three days and I'm not really a fan of se...

Agree with Nirvana comments. Bleach was very much a heavy rock album opposed to the grunge sound of Nevermind.

Re: Bands whose first album was quite different from subsequent material
I saw Simple Minds round about the time Real to Real Cacophony came out and they were dark and interesting then with pounding synths and bass with Jim Kerr howling over the top. That changed pretty quickly. Depeche Mode went in the opposite direction when Vince Clarke left. Vince Clarke leaving was...

Exactly and they made 202 - 2 . Hardly a shit score.
