Re: Boxing

Leonard won the Hagler. Watching SRL counter attacking off the ropes was pure brilliance. He lost to Duran not at his peak. The next 'no mas"' fight he took the piss out of Duran. Argument over.    Now Andre Ward was a great middleweight . Undefeated . Froch gave him a good fight though.

yes. So wished he's scored that one at The Emirates though especially as Rice caused it.  0-3 has a better ring than 0-2.

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?

I highly doubt this site averages 65 posters a day. Less than half of that would be my educated guess. Wils setup a stats page to track these things. The numbers are legit  There's ~20+ on this small thread alone. It's worth adding that these figures are just the people posting content. There are a...

The statement stands on its own merit.👍😉
This version of the riff precedes both.

Great admirer of Glazner. We should have got him when we had the chance but doubt our owners even heard of him even though his Frankfurt side knocked us out of the EL semis ...thanks Cresswell. For him to be in for Kilman seems strange and poor judgement. Lets hope it's true.  btw I think Glasner ha...

Re: Diane Keaton no longer Looking for Mr. Goodbar

Not the greatest and really only played the same waspish roles. Still RIP.  No RIP thread for Michael Caine or Arnie Schwartzenegger, then... I didn't know they were dead. Michael Caine would be a good shout but he was very good in The Quiet American so I'll give him a pass.  I don't consider Arnie...

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 - 2025)

I wasn't impressed with Vicious. The plot was all over the place a real mess of a film.

I watched Tron Ares. If you like films with no substance or the same old plots re-hashed but good special effects then its for you. Not for me. the best thing was the Nine Inch Nails score.

Re: Boxing

Prime Tyson is a myth for Fanboys only. Tyson was a bully, Holyfield was one of the hardest men to ever put on a pair of gloves.  Leonard beats any version of Hagler, Christ Leonard had fought once in 5 years and Hagler hadn't lost in 11 years, if anyone wasn't in their prime its Leonard.
