Listened to it. I think it's horrible. Lost all restraint and subtlety that that original had. A cover version that in my opinion is nowhere near as good as the original.
Shame because I'm sure they could have done better but I'm sure this is what their fanbase likes?
Just generic US rock. Yawn.

'Tomorrow at 9pm a new three part documentary series ‘Greatest Basslines’ will air on Sky Arts - and the first episode is led by Hooky!
The series takes audiences on a hypnotic journey through the world of the bass, guided by three extraordinary bassists: Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Nate Mendel (Foo Fighters) & Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, The Smashing Pumpkins).
Each musician authors their own episode, deconstructing the iconic basslines that defined their careers while revealing the stories behind the strings. They also explore the grooves that inspired them, sharing the basslines that first turned them onto the instrument and shaped their playing.
Joining them is a stellar supporting cast, including Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Mani (The Stone Roses), Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Deego (Fontaines D.C.), Victoria De Angelis (Måneskin), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd/Madonna), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Adam Clayton (U2), Adrian Younge (Wu-Tang Clan/Kendrick Lamar) and Alex James (Blur), who bring their own stories, insights and exclusive performances to the series.'
I don't have sky arts which pisses me off as I am a bess player would love to watch this.
Guy Pratt is seriously underrated. First saw him playing with The Orb doing downtuned organ shaking bass.
Lemmy was why I play bass. Him and Bootsy Collins are my favourites with Les Claypool in third as his playing utter madness.
Sky arts is on freeview (ch36)
