Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Nuno’s laydowns. Any manager that sets his team up to play like that is gonna fail. We are in trouble. That has to be the worst performance since Fat Sam. Nothing annoys me more than laying down to an opponent, especially Arsenal ffs! No excuses that was diabolical. Nuno needs to apologize to every...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

That he got 90mins was frankly a positive too...when did he last do that?   Also against Sunderland. Started 4 of the last 6 Prem games and been taken off each time due to being shit. 0 goals, 0 assists so far for the season.      Bit harsh that,  3 of those starts were for Potter's shambolic team....

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

I would like to see Wilson start instead of the big German I reckon Fullkrug starts. Reason being Nuno looked delighted with him at the end of the Everton game, like he had maybe been given specific instructions and really executed them well despite not really looking like scoring. Wondering if he ...

On paper can't see anything other than a comfortable Arsenal win but here's hoping we can put in a decent performance

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Seeing that game last night convinced me how right it was not to renew Moyes’ contract. His whole tactics seem to be low block at home and away and his translation of it is a more boring form of football than most of the other teams that deploy it. Our team of misfits created multiple chances last ...

Re: Excellent article in The I

Good article and at last someone who understands why it was time for Moyes to go when he did.   Having read some of an Everton forum this evening it seems quite a lot of their fans aren't too happy with Moyes.

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Apparently Potts is getting good reviews from some Everton fans. Thinking about it, much as I think Magassa played well, we really took over when Potts came on. It's so hard to get your nut around what Potter was doing, his loyalty to JWP is proper mad. As said previously, what a hill to die on, it...

Re: Magassa

Oh, this fellas not for me. People highlighting a period of play of  20 minutes before and after half time are missing out on the fact that was when Everton just set back and we had a lot of possession with no challenges, when it was a proper Premier League game in the first 25 minutes he was absol...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

One small thing I noticed was when he told Wilson to get prepared to come on. It was like a quick hand signal, no words and Wilson was off the bench like a school kid being disciplined or something. I know I don’t pay attention to that stuff normally so maybe that’s just how it’s done, but if looke...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Fullkrug just seems half a yard off the pace in England - all of the time. He’s second to everything. Forgot his shooting boots today, too. So I’m really not sure what he gives us. There must be a player in there somewhere, as he’s been Germany’s #9 at times. But he was awful again today. Wilson se...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

On a basic level, I’m so much happier with us playing vertically far more often. Potter’s sideways sides just suck the life, movement and momentum out of players and teams. It wasn’t pretty at times tonight, but having an extra passing option who wasn’t a third centre back or yet another deep-lying...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Fair to say that Nuno has added some bollocks to this side. Plenty of positives to take from it.  Magassa looks decent and is what we've been lacking.   Diouf was outstanding.   Bowen took his chance.  Summerville a nightmare for opposing defenders.    Kilman's best game for a while.
