Managed to get tickets for this in the ballot. That good fortune has put me in an optimistic mood and I fancy us nicking a result against the odds. But realistically there is a bit of fight in the team now and maybe a little less predictable too. So I am at least hoping that they make a game of it. Summerville to get a first half goal. The boy’s coming good.

I've actually managed to blag a comp ticket for this one but its in the lower west stand so will be surrounded by Chelsea. I will of course endeavour to keep my head down which should we score will be easier said than done.
I think we we may may nick a point if we are positive and don't concede early
We are bound to concede but now have the firepower and legs to trouble them
2.2 Pabo & Bowen

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Next up is the late kick off away at blue scum. Chelsea are hard to judge these days, with Leroy's boy in charge as the 'Yes Man's of Blue Co with a set of happy-clappy new age ideas, and a touch of the In Betweeners about him #briefcase.
But he's made a good start to life down the Kings Road, and will be out for the win here. Chelsea had European football in the week and have another game on Tuesday....so maybe we'll get them tired or on an off day, but with a massive squad and a talented young line up, there is no question that at they're best they are a better side than we are.
Closer to home, things are as good as they've been all season. Three wins on the bounce, the arrival of a real 'West Ham' type in Paco to counterbalance the marmite approach of Sargeant Baldie, and a first XI that looks like it can at least put up a fight. Add to that we have football's Jonah Lomu on the bench, and maybe we can spring a surprise. At the same time, the squad has been nerfed by Sullivan this window, with Rush Green no doubt feeling a bit like a ghost town, doubt about further incomings, and the mercurial talent of Paqueta now just a footnote in the Club's history as he's back home on the beach.
Predicted Line-up:
One can only assume we'll be unchanged, with almost zero options or competition at this point in the squad to put anyone under real pressure. The only real intrigue being how long Scarles keeps Diouf sidelined, and whether Adama will be fucking hopeless.
Hermansen, KWP, Diouf, Kilman, Potts, Magassa, Kante, Traore, Wilson, Mayers
Predicted Result:
It's hard to look past Chelsea win here despite our improved form. A decent showing to set us up to beat Burnley next week will be a good outcome, with points of any kind unexpected.
Chelsea 2 - 0 West Ham
