Re: NFL (since 2016)

Always amazes me that so many NFL stadiums have no roof and they have equally bad weather in the US as we do here. I'd love us to build a stadium like Arrrowhead or Lambeau or  for the Hammers. Stadiums don't really need a roof when they are only used a max of 30 times a years.  It’s because those ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread

We've been in worse situations, however Forest have played most of the big teams twice and we still have to play City, United, Liverpool, Villa and Chelsea. The damage was really done during December so now it's just a case of hitting and hoping now that other teams plummet.

Re: Burton (A) FA Cup

Got my train sorted once the date was confirmed. £26 return was too good to turn down considering Liverpool is nearly a ton just a couple of weeks after. I'll log on at 12 and see how quickly they start going. Bit odd that they have put Liverpool on sale at the same time.

Re: Nuno sacked

Comical appointment.

Thanks to UEFA changing the rules, both the Conference and the Europa League are now much easier to win (not like when we were in them). They are clearly hoping the Aussie fraud gets lucky twice.

Re: How important is owning the stadium?

Conversion is possible. Read below regarding the stadium that held the Copa del Rey final earlier this year. The match was played on 26 April 2025 at  Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville  – in the first event at the venue following its expansion and conversion from an athletics facility ahead of its us...

Very important. Just ask Daniel Levy, who ironically is the reason we don't own the London Stadium

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!

I would have suggested taking our seats 9 minutes after kick-off at every home game to represent each miserable year spent at the London Stadium.

Boycotting a game seems excessive and unworkable.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread

We usually go down at least once a decade, so you could say we are due one. I don't think it would be a bad thing for the fans for a season or two. Better away days, less day trippers at the London Stadium, possibly better cup runs, more Saturday games, no VAR, more chance of seeing the youngsters p...

Like him or loathe him (loathe), can’t deny what a top player he has been (he's a fucking cheat). Went out on a high, winning the Europa (in what's now regarded as the worst European final in history). Might be a few empty seats at WHL next season, with all the Koreans who will no longer have an in...

I went to Friday's gig. His voice was incredible, in fact it was like going back to when I first saw them in 1994.
