He might be a donkey. But he's our donkey now so we need to get behind him.

He scored some great goals He played some exquisite passes He performed some outrageous tricks and flicks He tackled hard His penalties were as close to a sure thing as you get He had some moments of shithousery that were a joy to behold ..and he played THAT pass to Bowen in Prague He's the kind of...

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
New player comes in. Starts two games. We win two games. Conclude he is absolute gash. What was another thread saying about modern football fans?
Re: Nuno Out
We will see if this new coach makes any difference soon enough. Should be evident within 5 games but probably too late anyway and besides it will only prove what a few of us are suspecting that Nuno, like Moyes, was only as good as is back room staff. ? That would highlight clear failings in mana...

How's that going to happen? Is he going to meet Sullivan's valuation for his shares or has he reached an agreement with the Gold family for theirs?

RIP Alex. Thank you for all you did to set this site up. Sad that there are so many on this thread who no longer post. Sensible contributors have been driven away by the constant bickering, name calling and repitition from the dozen or so who live their lives through this site.

Then how do you account for the most successul 4 year period in our history with 3 top half finishes and silverware coming after the move?

Re: Swiss ski resort fire
I was in that part of the world just before Christmas. I am no fan of our health and safety culture stifling personal risk taking, but at the same time I did notice in several places around Switzerland and southern Germany that they do things that we wouldn't allow here. So when you see things like...
Re: Nuno Out
14% win rate. He's going down as one of, if not the worst manager we've had. This graph as another indicator was before last night's game.. https://x.com/WestHamStatto/status/2004966705605275973 Isn't data on this site supposed to show Moyes is our worst manager, not our best? Data has 'be carefu...

Re: West Ham vs Brighton | PL | 30.12.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
You cannot have any confidenence we will not concede another 2 or 3 with our defence esp with a left side of Kilman, Scarles and Paqueta. As the game goes on Brighton will bring on subs as players tire. We only have Summerville unless Nuno sees the sense in bringing the energy of Mayers and Earth...

Re: Nuno Out
Everything about this club under Sullivan’s stewardship is two bob shite. And look at the fucking state of the team it delivers. Sadly, this is not true. Our current predicament would, in some ways, be more tolerable if it were the case. Over the last 10 years, we've been the 7th highest spenders...

naive or optimistic?
If Sullivan isn't selling with a Premiership valuation, what makes you think he would sell with a lower valuation in the Championship?

If Sullivan won't sell up at Premier League valuations, he certainly isn't going to sell at a lower valuation in the Championship.

Re: Man City vs West Ham | PL | 20.12.25 | Predictions & Match Thread
The knee jerk drivel on this site is incredible. So we are now a yo-yo club after at least 14 years at the top level.
Re: Nuno Out
The fact that even we, as bad as we were/are, managed to beat Nuno's last side Forest 3-0, and the last time we had a clean sheet should have been a red flag when he indeed got sacked in the morning. So why then employ him. The managerial equivalent of buying Paul Hilton after beating Bury 10-0?

Re: Nuno Out
Question for the site moron. What is the minimum win percentage you would tolerate before you changed managers every 10 games?
Re: Moyes
Moyes was a stain on West Ham's history. In 4 years he only delivered 3 top half finishes, 3 European campaigns and a European trophy. Thankfully we've moved on from such woeful outcomes.

Re: What’s it gonna take?
It's highly unlikely that anyone other than an American consortium or a Gulf state would buy the club and have the clout to make a big difference. If they did, why would they invest serious money in the ground even if the deal included ownership of the stadium? We'd all prefer a stadium like Evert...
