Re: Sullivan out!
Ignoring the shambolic choice of managers, not paying them a lump sum the club cannot afford sounds pretty prudent to me.

Re: Sullivan out!
Has this been mentioned? A friend showed me a social media thing and it said Sullivan rather than pay a lump sum agreed to keep paying Lopetegui and Potter and right now we are actually paying wages to 3 managers!!!
Absolute shambles

Re: Sullivan out!
We need proper leadership and someone who has a well thought out longer term plan and vision. In any industry you need a business plan, expertise, know how and experience of how to execute it. West Ham is a failing business to thats the long and short of it. Sullivan wants it to be successful but suffers from ego that tells him he knows how to achieve it despite 25-30 years at 2 clubs where he’s failed. His misplaced confidence in his abiility is something he mistakes for competence.
Money / backing is great but more importantly having the plan in place that ensures the infrastructure ( people and facilities etc ), professionalism and expertise is in place to execute the plan. The chances of spending the money wisely and effectively over time then greatly increases. Without it, its just one reactive, disjointed decision after another, the waste of 100s of millions, high turnover of managers and failure on the football side as well as the financial dimension of the business. Exactly what we have and ate continuing to see.
Ideally Sullivan and board move on but a step forward would be him to gave an epiphemy and recognise he does not have a clue what he, Brady and co are doing to truly get in place someone to do it for them. We dan dream

Re: Sullivan out!
There's no place for such a reasoned post on this forum WhereDoesThisEnd. Don't you understand that Sullivan is on the verge of being hounded out under a barage of balloons and red cards. Once he's gone we will be taken over by an East End barrow boy made good who will invest billions. Upton Park will be rebuilt, the team that won the world cup will be cloned and the ICF will return. Oh, and Percy Dalton peanuts will replace the popcorn.

Re: Sullivan out!
It’s interesting to look at the external perception of our owners. A lot of opinion is driven by league position, so the regard for Sullivan and the board has naturally dipped over the last few months. But there are plenty of ownership groups a casual observer would say are viewed just as critically — if not more so — by their own fans.Off the top of my head, many would probably place the Glazers at United, Boehly at Chelsea, Venky’s at Blackburn, Lewis at Spurs, Chansiri at Sheffield Wednesday and Shi at Wolves ahead of ours in terms of supporter dissatisfaction — and arguably even Friedkin at Everton given the uncertainty there.
Several clubs have also gone through ownership change without the fairytale outcome fans often expect. Palace supporters moved on from Textor, yet have since endured a widely criticised transfer window. Reading parted ways with Yongge but haven’t seen an obvious uplift. Forest went from Al-Hasawi to Marinakis and still ride the same volatility that comes with modern football. Newcastle felt like they’d won the lottery replacing Ashley, yet even there some fans are voicing concerns as expectations rise. It’s actually difficult to find a fanbase fully content with its ownership.
Closer to home, Gillingham believed they’d hit the big time when an American billionaire replaced the unpopular Scally, yet they’re now nearer the relegation places than the promotion spots.I suspect what supporters often react to most is change itself — much of it driven by time, evolution and cultural shifts. Owners then become the embodiment of that change. They’re cast as villains when, in many cases, they’re simply introducing modern methods to a fanbase that was comfortable with how things used to be — something every generation wrestles with in almost every walk of life.

This is another one worthy of official Sullivan Out thread...there are 5 very good ones on there now...All different but very succinct in their message. It all builds a consistent picture.

AWOOGA
Listened to this yesterday actually. Enjoyed. None of them were as flat out damning of the board as I’d have hoped, though.

I couldn't give a fuck about the dour bloke, or his personality which pretty much duplicated him on the field. you moyes cult members completely disregard the final two seasons under him, where we lost twenty league games, then almost conceded two goals a game (all the while sitting back, letting the other team have the fucking ball). He'll be doubling down to try and get us promoted first. That's why it was important to stay up this season and we are having a laugh if we think we can bounce straight back with that squad with this (or any other Sullivan choice of) manager and with this owner.
Coventry, Sheffield Weds, Birmingham, Bolton, Southampton to name a few....the lower leagues are littered with fallen giants, we're no bigger or better or have a right to be any different, so yes barring a remarkable rebuilding then a few seasons out of the top tier beckon I think, and its no more than we deserve.you're talking absolute shit if you think we're not a much bigger club than all those you mentioned, and 'we' didn't/don't deserve anything of the sort. no one other than thick cunts like joyo, twoshortplanks and mabbut ferret asked for a succession of moyes clones over and over again. Re: Sullivan out!
Not that Moyes was blameless on the decision making but in the conveyer belt of striker disasters, I see that Brian Brobbey who was deemed from memory not brave enough of the Premier League is proving to be a real handful afterall.
The one I’m always surprised we didn’t spot in our spell of chucking £25-45m on strikers is Evanilson. Can’t recall seeing a more West Ham player. Runs all day, quick, clever movement. Quite similar to Bellamy. Would have been perfect for Moyes.

What radio station was he on Talksport?
