We’d of been better off keeping hold of Rice and letting him leave for free
He wanted to leave? But interesting, if we had kept the Europa side together the following season , bar moving on a few oldies  - and under a new manager - we'd probably have been better off today.

It's not a WHOism but there used to be some deranged thread called "The Network"
Fuck knows what was going on in the "network". but it might be nice if it came back to keep demented posters happy

Re: Sullivan out!

I think we should all go hog wild and consistently start inventing player transfer rumours and supposed targets and see how long before they take to surface on the Claret & Hugh website. I am pretty sure most of us already suspect the large part of his content comes from scrolling through WHO a...

Some good un's today from everyone . I've never heard of gentle giant before. Fucking mental but good 😊
Penthouse & Pavement, an absolute banger. That bass and a great album all together, very 80's but holds up well. I had to buy a replacement as I wore it out at the time.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup

When I first saw this was happening I ignored it thinking it's just elite European clubs, but adding these bizarre Asian, African teams in, it might be quite entertaining.

Hopefully not another all English final like the last borefest.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup

It's a crock of shit but tbh I'd watch cats kick a ping pong ball around right now. So bring it on, there must be an underdog to follow. Maybe Esperance de Tunis?

How many more days until we're back . . .

Re: This Crystal Palace situation!

An Irish club - Drogheda - has just been kicked out the uefa conference as the owner also has a stake in Silkeborg. I don't suppose they imagined they would  ever qualify for European football and didn't sort things out at the start of the season.   Kretinsky co-owns Sparta Prague so maybe it needs ...

Re: Going to a gig on your own

Did it a few of times. Once Amy Winehouse, i had a pair of tickets, no one interested. Ended up standing up on the central line on the way there asking if anyone fancied it, a studenty type did, bought me a drink on the way in and we went our own way. I was right at the front and no one was a bit in...

He's doing a great job for them. But hes also fat and mouthy and has put himself in the spotlight. Football fans dont need much prompting when it comes to dishing out unkind personal abuse . .
