Re: Fornals earns a recall to the Spanish team- was Moyes dead wrong to bomb him out?

He was a tidy player - not spectacular but did his best considering the vast majority of the time Moyes nearly always used him as a utility man out of his favoured position.  He would've been ideal playing on the right side of a 3 man midfield. He certainly had the mobility and quick feet to do that...

Under the thick claret and blue paint? What about to sticky shit on the floors? Is the Queens still there, that had proper claret and blue decoration. The sticky carpet to end all sticky carpets...at least I think that's what was under all the shit I always enjoyed all the faded Shoot! posters with...

A shithole is generally a place which has no redeeming features whatsoever. Some of the best vegetarian curries in London are in the vicinity of our old ground plus the spectacular all singing all dancing refurbishment of The Boleyn. I think a fair few of us suspected something special was hiding un...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread

Chelsea and Spurs are looking at Jonathan David who signed on a free for Juventus. Apparently they aren't too convinced by him but it's a bit unfair considering the way they are run is similar to the he Man Utd shit show of recent years.

Another one who we were linked to for ages bites the dust

Couple of murmurs saying Sullivan might can Brady. Is this the last act of a desperate man? The final and ultimate bus throwing? He's nowhere to go after that if he goes through with it. He will be fully exposed. Can't see that ever happening. She'll simply release the (#MeToo) details on how they ...

It was the fact he largely disappeared from doing anything effective afterwards that was a huge let down. He's back in Brazil now playing for Palmeiras probably in what should have been Guillerme's position...

Re: Who is our worst signing?

Also Felipe Anderson was a huge disappointment - maybe not the worst but another overpriced, badly scouted misfit with very little presence on the pitch - totally unsuitable for the Prem  To think he was probably signed to more or less play the role Alan Dev used to do back in the day! Unbelievable ...

Most sport clubs were already in existence - cricket, gymnastics or rugby. When they saw football taking off like a wildfire a lot eventually became fully fledged official football clubs. To jump on the bandwagon and all that.

Sheffield FC (red and blacks)  v Hallam FC (blues) is the oldest derby as obviously they are also oldest clubs in the world 1857 & 1860  Sheffield Wednesday (1867) and Sheffield United (1889) came much later because the original clubs wished to remain amateurs playing to the original rules they ...

Re: Fullkrug Speaks Out

I could be wrong but none of them strike me as the kind to have ever played Football. Might sound trivial but when they preach to all and sundry on the Club website and the like it strikes me as very odd to take their expertise in the game seriously. If they are making a living out of it fair play ...

I hope he can follow up with a good performance against Burnley, this fanbase is crying out for someone to get behind who has a bit about them. We have Bowen but much as he's a great player, he's not a captain and isn't vocal enough. Potts looks like he has more about his personality for the role o...

Who needs analytics or databases when you consistently pull such gems from the bottom of the agents spreadsheet. Then he will be sold just like Declan was. We never build a team we unearth a diamond and sell it for a fast buck as we always have.   IF Potts goes on to prove he is the real deal, I think it most unlikely that he will be sold for a fast buck. Other than in the late 1990s and early 00s, due mainly...

Word is that Toney has been hoist by his own petard: almost nobody can afford his full wages in January, because too many sides are up against PSR and don't want to risk breaching it on a loan deal. He's going to have to take a massive pay cut, or his team is going to have to subsidise his wages - ...

We can't as the other £25M wasteful signing Guilherme continues to struggle making an impression. I'm not a fan of Kilman - at all. But credit where it is due, he was much better against Newcastle. Still made a ricket with their goal - pressing far too high up the pitch and got marooned about 20 yards behind play when Murphy scored. Left the defence hopelessly exposed. But, other than that one ...

The man didn't need to run - he would simply glide.

No more pointless tactical shenanigans.

Clear instructions gets you clear results.

Everybody in their right position doing what they are good at and keeping the lines tight

It's ain't hard. It's still going to be a tough season but hopefully the lesson has been learnt.
