Pack it in, Wils. Ghastly phrase.
It is. But think of it as a euphemism for what we actually post.

I am sure that’s part of it. But I think most of the traffic is after the game finishes.

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?

115 posters, 650 posts on the day of the Chelsea game. 102 posters, 547 posts on the day of the Wolves game. The "average" day there are about 65 posters, and around 230 posts to the site per day, typically spread over about 20 topics. I highly doubt this site averages 65 posters a day. L...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?

I believe the mods did some stats on this and in fact its not dying at all in terms of members and like I said just that people who previously posted don't. Don';t hold ne to that.  Although it is absolutely dead during the international break. To be honest we would be better unplugging everything ...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?

For context on this. I have been tracking the amount of posters on the site since its relaunch. Although we without doubt lost regulars and old timers over that period, the top day for the number of different posters posting content on this site was as recent as 22nd August this year (Chelsea game) ...

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?

I'm not sure how much traction this boycott has and as Gary said it might not look that empty because everyone will move down.  I thought that the club had a policy about people sitting in the wrong seats. One that could lead to a ban on the original seat owner, the squatter or both. Wasn't that on...

I won't be relisting either. I don't think it matters if it's only 10% that honour the boycott, as long as its noticeable that is all that matters. They will worry it gets worse.

Re: Do you believe in God? How would you explain your beliefs?

Everyone should believe in God.  Those chumps on this thread spouting off about not believing? Ask them the question again when they are on their deathbed.  Bless you.  As a fellow believer I wouldn't be so sure that people who don't believe would suddenly start believing on their death bed. And ev...

Re: The Who

Fantastic in their day, but like so many bands, they should have hung it up a long time ago rather than drag it out so the band is a shadow of what it once was. This is apparent when you see a really good tribute band who are 30 years younger than the originals, and it reminds you of what that band...

There's a lot of shit on TV that no one's interested in. But it's only women's football that seems to wind people up which I find quite funny.  Fair point. But I don’t think people would be quite so wound up if 1. Men weren’t blamed for the poor support of women’s game and 2. Fans of normal footbal...

He's a bit of a div isn't he? I watched him on this panel the other month and it was excruciating. He ends up faking a phone call as he was too embarrassed to continue ( 1:23:38 ). You can see him squirming and sweating as he panics about having to say something intelligent. https://www.youtube.com/...

WSL average attendances are down for the second year running. Despite all the money thrown at it, this just never got any traction did it.

I read somewhere that it's not even women watching it. It's men.

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

The only good thing about that white flag waving tosh was our shape before they scored. Nuno has a lot to do to stop us looking like guaranteed relegation fodder. And I don't why we have to endure the painfully overrated Paqueta week in week out. When he's not embarrassing this club with his pathet...

Diouf has been dreadful. Looks distracted and lethargic. Can’t understand why he wasn't hooked at half time. Let alone still on the pitch with 20 mins left.

Re: Team Captain

Does the 'best' player necessarily make an ideal choice to captain the team?
- No.

Is it time to hand the armband over?
- If there is someone more suitable, then yes.

And if so, to whom?
- There isn't anyone. So Bowen it is.
