Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Yeah, I've got to admit it's a bit churlish to dismiss the jist of the speEch based on a slight misspelling. FcUk FoF UyO CnUtS Perhaps reread what I said. I wasn't the dismissing the content of what he had to say. I was pointing out posting things with shouty misspelt capitals is going to have th...

Open your mind and your ears……a man that knows everything has a lot to learn If you are looking to learn something about immigration, the growth of Islamism in the West and woke, have a listen to this man. Working-class background people like us can relate to, but no shouty capitals and no rantin...

Re: Remembrance Sunday
Adolf Hitler proposed the extermination of the Jews at great length in Mein Kampf which was written in the mid 1920s and made no secret of his views thereafter. I went to my town's rememberence parade and open air service as usual. There was a good crowd gathered in the watery sun. That's not true....

I couldn't get to this as I had to support my daughter in something. But it looked a big success and got good coverage. Needs to be kept up.

Re: Remembrance Sunday
Good post, mate. I'd take slight exception to the first paragraph. Whilst people only became aware of the death camps after the war, the British public were well aware that the Germans hated Jews and were more than a little rum. London's Jews and cockneys had already routed Mosley, remember. Second...

Today is a day of rememberance and appreciation for ALL who fought against the Nazis and Fascists. My great uncle died on the beaches of Italy to make us safe from these cunts and their ideology. The least I can do is to continue to speak out against them, especially the ones in our own country who...

Re: Cloud Storage
Not sure why anyone would need to keep 15 TB of music and films, unless they are your own work you are archiving. I’d keep, say, 1 TB of the most favourite stuff and then just keep the old disks. About 13Tb are rips of all my DVD's, Blu-Rays and 4k discs - probably in excess of a 1000 in total ...

Re: Cloud Storage
Interesting. Some limitations around that it seems though. You aren’t offloading the data, can’t access it from other places and Reddit says it’s slow. But maybe none of that is a problem for your use case?

Re: Cloud Storage
Do you need easy access to the files or just want them archived? There are cheap alternates if you don’t want quick access to the files. 15TB of storage won’t be cheap. Can you compress any of it?

I suppose they take the old shirts out of supply by keeping them off sites like Vinted.

£30 discount on new shirts.
This press release was sent in to the site (after the event it mentions!). It's probably posted elsewhere, but with Christmas coming up it's worth posting here. There is a £30 discount available on shirts if you bring the old one in. See below: BOYLE Sports and West Ham United launch ‘Shirt Swap’ ma...

Re: Newcastle @ home 2.11.25 | Man of the Match?
I know everyone will vote for Potts - who was excellent and did everything asked of him, but Bowen for me. Wilson has to start every game now, even if he's only got 60 mins in him. Yes this is paranoid bollocks, but it really did look like Wilson purposefully missed today. I was behind the goal ...

A good bunch behind the North goal and in the brewdog bar, I’ll see if I can get over there. Yes, what the fuck was everyone doing in the BrewDog bar? There’s a protest going on, you have time for a pint with your mate, but you can’t shift a few yards down into the seats to join the effort to impro...

It was 40k so a small success in numbers but not that visually noticeable. Could have been a lot better. But was noticeable and regularly commented on by the commentators Not looking forward to spending more time in there than I have to on Sunday, but if a sit-in is arranged then I'll do my bit an...

All worse than us.
We stay up at a canter.
I am not convinced. We have lost to Wolves already and tomorrow will give us answer to Leeds.

Re: Going to the next level - Get ready for the Championship.
It will fix a few problems:
- Tourists will disappear.
- We'll all be closer to the pitch as the upper tiers wont get sold.
- Away tickets will be easier to get.
- Queues for drinks at half time will be smaller.
- Tickets will be cheaper.

Also, unless you are a vulgarian, prone to conspicuous spending, drink-driving, crashing supercars, rape, and cat-kicking, it's hard to identify with and like modern professional footballers. This was more of a problem in the WAG era of Lampard’s and Beckham’s time. I know these incidents you refer...
