I said years ago we should have gone for him. On a limited budget he had Wolves knocking on the door of the top 8. And he’s shown again at Forest what he can do without big money. 
 Bit late now of course. We haven’t got a cat’s hope in hell of getting him.

Al Stewart will be 80 in September and he’s embarking on the UK leg of his farewell tour soon.   Think I’ve seen him about 9 times over the years. He is always good live. 

He held the unique distinction of going to the Moon twice without actually landing on it. He was on Apollo 8 and the ill fated Apollo 13. 

A minidisc I recorded a while ago consisting of my favourite tracks from the albums Down to Earth and Long Live Rock n Roll by Rainbow.  I also put I Surrender and Stargazer onto the minidisc as there was room.   Stargazer, Eyes of the World, Rainbow Eyes , and Gates of Babylon are absolutely excell...

Aged 80.   Bit of a shame. 
I still enjoy repeats of George and Mildred.
this comes only a few months after Brian Murphy's passing.
