Re: Crapaqueta
Yes, agreed he was excellent in that one game.
But if he was our best player this year it's not easy to see in the stats. We lost most of our games this year yet this is all the games he has missed in 2025 so far:
Arsenal 0-1 West Ham
West Ham 2-0 Leicester
Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham
Man United 1-1 West Ham

He hasn't contributed to any assists? He's contributed to almost ALL our assists! Close to every single one. If you only count his contributions if he's the very last player to touch the ball
So out of the 18 goals we've scored so far this season, how many was his involved in passing moves resulting in goals? I can only think of 2, 1 against Burnley and another against Newcastle. Beyond that I'm struggling to think of amy others regardless of him having the last touch to assist goals.
I'm sure he was involved in all three goals against Forest...

Hà ha it is, but I would pick him every time.
It's all very well saying we played better without him (we didn't) we've won 2 lost 1 and drawn 2 of our last 5, he played in both the wins...didn't win either game he didn't play in.. Was motm against Newcastle, he has won the ball back and more duals than anyone in our team which makes him our best defensive player and he's our joint top goal scorer, but yeah he brings nothing to the table.

Then in his absence the Team with rock bottom confidence immediately managed to earn a well earned 1-1 draw at Old Trafford of all places. We didn't miss him at all, a player who couldn't assist a suicidal Ian Watkins from dying. 58 consecutive matches now.By that metric we wouldn't have missed any of them that played against Liverpool because we were shit and lost 2-0The post said we absolutely missed him and gave clear evidence of not only that game but also his previous 58 games in a row where he doesn't contribute to a single assist, yet he is supposed to be our main creative attacking midfielder. That's nonsense from computer game football. He hasn't contributed to any assists? He's contributed to almost ALL our assists! Close to every single one. If you only count his contributions if he's the very last player to touch the ball then almost all of our players are shit and would also explain your love for Soucek who does next to nothing compared to Paqueta but does get occasional all important touches.
I was there on Sunday and loved watching him, he put a lot of work in and although he tries a lot of killer balls far too advanced for his mediocre team mates and loses the ball, he puts the graft into trying to get it back. Also love his back heeled no look passes and flicking it over a defender onto his own head to volley a near miss. With Kudus gone, he's the only player we have left who can get us excited.
Was he an idiot for getting sent off? Yes. Would a proper captain have prevented it? Probably. Is he our best player? By a mile. (Although Fernandes was on that day)

We don't only miss the good bits when he's not playing for us. We also miss the bad things too. I would say his presence undermines the fortitude and grit of the team and it's that which got us a draw.

Nonuts bottled a great opportunity to give Marshall a start at LWF with a central midfield 3 of Potts, Maggie and Fernandes, of course the gutless coward shat it.
I can't believe he didn't pick Josh Brownhill

Maybe he's got a couple of tranny mates, too, living Upminster/Cranham. No wonder you're so vexed here.Recommend one for him do you?
I've never needed counselling or trannies unlike you
The fact that you so quickly trigger yourself. pickled-style, on the very sight of an anonymous user name suggests that counselling is exactly what you do need. Probably along with a soapy massage from a tranny on the side, too.

Didn't he sarcastically clap our crowd whilst nodding his head as he walked off the pitch at the end as his tiny brain rattled about in his numbskull? He needs sectioning.

Go fuck yourself. If you went to your best mates funeral and some pratt started yelling and shouting about himself and all the problems he has you'll be calling him out and probably punch him.

Oh silly me I didn't realise we were at a funeral I thought it was a football match, you know players on a pitch getting frustrated with refs and opposition players etc.... I'd say trying to win a game too, but there wasn't much of that going on...

You clearly need both - especially the latter, given that you absolutely have to introduce them into every thread, totally disrespecting your fellow posters and their desire to stay on-topic..

Re: Crapaqueta
Trivial pursuit question this one, the last time our creative superstar Paqueta assisted a goal was 58 games ago in all competitions against Newcastle 30/03/24 20 months ago.
