Five games in- do we miss Declan Rice at all?
"Maybe this is a little too early to have this debate, but five games in and you’d have to say not at all so far. The midfield seems to function just as well in defence and attack, and we’ve spent the money very wisely on Alvarez and JWP as replacements, it seems thus far and if Kudus turns out to be decent then we’ve invested extremely wisely. Any thoughts? Is it too early to say?"

"I watched him yesterday and he is a modern day Ray Wilkins, passes sideways and backwards but very efficient. Not a bum off seats player and I thank Arsenal for the money. JWP & Alvarez are doing a fabulous job and now we need to get Kudus in."

"Interesting one. Alvarez seems to keep it simple, wins the ball, releases it safely and usually short, whereas Rice dwelt on the ball more, wanted to aim 60 yard passes at times, and steamed into the box more, which meant Soucek had to sit deeper. Not taking anything away from Rice, who was usually our best player, but it’s interesting that losing your best player can possibly mean that you improve as a team."

"Think about it logically, what side is going to miss a DM? It's never happened before in football history. He hasn't been missed a single jot, quite the opposite in fact. I won't be wishing the cսnt any luck either."

Re: Five games in- do we miss Declan Rice at all?
"We dont miss him have spent the money well, move on. Good luck to him though, but hopefully Arsenal will win fuck all, they may get CL every season but once the knockouts start, they are just fodder for the ""bigger clubs"" anyway, last 16 or 8 each season with a last 4 if the draw falls well is as good as it will get for Dec. Do find his relationship with Arteta a bit strange, the way they swoon about each other and when he scored i thought both he and Arteta were going to burst into tears the way they looked into each other's eyes. all a bit nauseous if not bordering on gay"
Re: Five games in- do we miss Declan Rice at all?
"I have no qualms about Dec leaving to win some silverware and further is career, and have no bitterness about it (unlike a few). But as results have shown, we're better without him, as the money as been well spent. So, thanks, Dec."
Re: Five games in- do we miss Declan Rice at all?
"Yeah we're really missing his two goals a season and his 'really bubbly personality' in the dressing room, the fucking simpleton. I hope someone snaps him clean in half the turncoat Arteta cum guzzling rice pudding salesman overrated cringe fest."

We shouldn’t miss a player that doesn’t want to play for the club.
