"Stayed in Blackpool a couple of times in the early 90's when we played the scouse cunts away. The term 'a pint and a punch-up' was invented for the dive. Always thought the scene of my early holidays, Dymchurch, was grim until I visited there."

Mate’s grandparents owned a hotel in Blackpool so used to frequently travel up there for weekends in the late 90s. Had some decent bars like Branigans and a couple of huge nightclubs. One was called the Palace. It was stag do/hen party heaven for people back then. Huge amount of Birds from Glasgow especially. Felt like a lively place during that time but stopped off at Blackpool (Not for clubbing) on my way back from Liverpool a couple of years ago and like many British towns it felt like it had seen better days. Not sure if the nightlife is any better.

Great music but you didn’t want to be from out of the area in there. Valentino’s in Canning Town was also good."

"Side of Ham 7:42 Mon Sep 25 Benjys Bottom of your list, so probably not in too bad an order. A shithole of the highest order. More a boozer than club man, but do remember Hollywoods in the early 90's, being charged a jacks for a bottle of Bud in the VIP area upstairs. Ilford Palais (The Island as it became iirc). Also Rain (??), Southend. Was another Hackney Marshes way. Froggies??? Also The Cube up in scouse land."
