"I don't see any reason why we can't beat them. They've lost 3 of 7 this season and we're above them in the table. Gordon is suspended, Botman - their best defender - is injured as is Willock and Barnes who's out long term. They key will be whether Joelinton and Wilson make it, both having been missing midweek... Wilson for obvious reasons. I fancy Bowen against Burn It may come down to which team is better coached... which is the biggest problem"

"I really enjoyed the first half midweek so more of that, I’m not sure we have that mentality to beat Newcastle, but you never know, I’m going for a draw."

"Agree it's good that he's out as he has looked good this season, but highly doubt it's a game changer as they have many good players. I think Barnes is injured too, or he was against PSG. Can't call this one, just hoping we put on a good performance and then see what happens. A bit of luck always helps."

"Sure, i read/saw somewhere that Gordon was out for this game, could be suspension? I do hope so, as much as he is a decent player and could cause us problems i also have an irrational dislike of him! Just looks like a wrong un to me, maybe that dyed hair and the gangerly run he has, can understand why Everton fans absolutely detest him as well, comes across a a cսnt. Be a tough game but I'm optimistic we can get something. COYI"

Mu concern is how Coufal deals with Gordon. If he can keep him under control then we could have a chance

Hoping Toon will still be recovering from post-PSG Piss Up… They are so much better with Howe and Saudi Cash…

"Moyes is in a process whereby he’s learning how to use attack-minded flair players worth upward of 80 million pounds transfer fee. Have you considered how you might support him in this learning process, twoleftfeet? I love your username by the way."

"Paqueta Kudus Bowen That's a great front 3 interchanging whenever they like. Geordie maggots won't know what's hit them. Oh, wait, handbrake Dave won't allow that even though its staring him in the face. Imagine Dan Burn trying to keep up with any of those 3. He'd end up with twisted blood"

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread
"Happy to hold my hands up and say, after yesterday‚Äôs showing, that Soucek gets picked ahead of Fornals, whose form has deteriorated alarmingly. Also, even with Soucek in the side, we‚Äôre seeing Paqueta playing a much more central, forward role. So, if JWP, Bowen and Kudus all start, and ?Ålvarez learns how to stop picking up soft cards, I see a potent side in the field and a cracking game on Sunday."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread
"I quite like the look of Takashi's team, apart from the omission of Aguerd. As for Antonio, TM is clear that he's only leaving him out if he's still injured. But why not start him on the bench anyway, even if he's fit, especially as he's coming back from an injury. Bring him off the bench if needed against tiring defenders. I want to see more of what Kudus can do. Areola Coufal Zouma Aguerd Emerson Alvarez JWP Soucek Paqueta Bowen Kudus"

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread
"To be honest, and being proper old skool West Ham, I just want us to hit that 30 point mark as soon as possible, after which we (I) can start to relax. Don't really care how we get there - just that we do. This game will, indeed, be a very good indicator of where we are and what we need to do to push on."
