"Disgusting lack of respect shown to Moyes, bloke won us a trophy first time in 43 years and has managed over 1000 games and people still think they know better than him."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread
"At what point in the season does it dawn on dickhead Davie that we might just have a very, very good player in Kudos, we spent nearly 50m on him, and he 'should really be starting'? What a load of bollocks that he has to get 'premier league ready'. Fucking start him and if he gets knackered then substitute him with Benrahma or Fornals etc. But to not start him after watching how he plays the game is simply fucking dreadful. Only at West Ham and only under the donkey - gutless Moyes."

"Plus that smug twat Shearer failed to realise not only did they have an extra recovery day but also they played at home so would be tucked up in their mansions before midnight, while our lot wouldn't have arrived back in the UK until the early hours of Friday morning at best! What a prick!"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread - Preview
It is a shame we aren't one of the so-called top 6 as we could say we don't want Bankes to referee any of our games for the rest of the season.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Kudus best position is a ten, that's where he played and transformed the way we played. Getting him up front feeding on scraps won't see the best of him in my opinion. But hopefully we will see soon where he's best. Give him a start because he makes stuff happen."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Antonio played really well the first 30/35. Then the team as a whole dipped towards half time. The main front 3 of Paqueta,Bowen and Antonio all played across the 3 forward positions interchanging well. This led to the Newcastle defence not knowing which one to pick. Sometimes the wider players would drop deeper allowing Soucek to play further up,that's how his goal worked . Soucek towards the end of the half moved further forward we stagnated as did the game. Antonio however wasn't fit enough to continue in the 2nd half. Whether Moyes trusted Kudus for an entire half is debatable. Moyes said so himself. I and many think he will be fine. I'll give Moyes plaudits for attacking the first 30 mins well and setting up tactically right. As against City we had a good chance to attack after going 1-0 up. But once again we held onto the 1 goal instead of being proactive and going for the 2nd when we were on top.I would have kept Soucek on for the same amount of time and replaced Antonio with Kudus at half time or at the least 10 mins max. Kudus is ready now, leave it to long then he'll be trying too hard."

"Small gripe but having that smug twat Shearer comment on any Nookasell game is fucking tedious. The suggestion that they didnt win because of a CL hangover conveniently ignored the fact that we played in Europe a day after them. So not only did they have an extra day off they also are not the most amazing side in the world. Next time maybe look at the league table with us still above them before you try and write off the side the Maggots are playing against. Yes, my Monday is not going well. Cunts"

We got a deserved point yesterday following on from wins against Sheffield Utd and in Germany last Thursday. With Bowen signing a new contract it’s been a positive couple of weeks and start to the season. COYI!

"Yeah it has a case to be a foul, but I think the push/nudge or whatever looks far worse as Aguerd basc stops and calls for an offside whereas Isak is still switched on and looking hungry for a goal Far more pissed off with Aguerd than the lino"

"I agree with Rossal. Had we scored that goal and it was disallowed for the very weak push Aguerd had on him, then I'd be fuming."

"Rossal ""Thought on the ball yesterday he was poor then bullied for their 2nd. Isak does nudge him but"" Nudge him? He pushed him in the middle of the back with 2 hands. It was a clear foul"

The best thing was the fact that except their purple patch we were equal to them. A complete turn around from that horrific night earlier in the year. I see that as us improving and them being slightly diminished. We looked better against them that the City or Chelsea match.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Pentonville and Duke of Devonshire - spot on. We actually played pretty well first half, Paqueta ran the game, his understanding with Emerson is excellent. The only issue for me with Paqueta playing left is so much goes through him, hardly anything goes down the right, Bowen really isolated first half. I’d drop Soucek in a heartbeat can’t stand watching him limp and lollop about all game. I don’t care if he’s scored a few tap ins, any decent AM would have double what he’s had by now. Plus people say it was a free kick before the second goal but the ball was there to be won and Soucek went for it and completely missed the ball - it was a joke how badly he mis judged that. His overall contribution is dog shit. Second half we typically sat back and waited for them to score we just go deeper and deeper until the inevitable goals against then do some substitutions at 70-75 mins. We were also second best for nearly all the second half we stopped fighting until the subs came on. Kudus should be playing and starting, we should try and play football for 90 mins - imagine where we could be with this team if we actually tried to attack teams for 90 minutes. I’d have been happy with a point before the game and we definitely deserved the point we got. But that game was there for the taking yesterday - the ref weren’t the only one who bottled it!"

"And that's a big issue. The 'fairness' of giving a player an extra life or 'not wanting to impact the game too much' or it being 'too early in the game' vs doing what's objectively right and refereeing an incident at face value. A yellow card offence is a fucking yellow card offence no matter what minute it occurs in and who commits it. It seems more sensible for the ref to give it on the pitch and then for VAR to have a look IF there's doubt over the second yellow and then rescind it upon looking at evidence seen as it then has become a sending off offence. That way at least it'll be officiated properly rather than ignored and no-one can have any complaints. But as mentioned, we are on both ends of these things thanks to the wild inconsistencies that plague the game. This time it's likely cost us two points, next time it could gift us two points."

"Really disappointed i've not seen Moyes post match cunting the ref off..... surely thats the least he should be doing? Pathetic from him, should be giving him all sorts of shit in his press conf Also the yellow cards for 'asking the ref for a player to be booked' are shit aint they.....whats the point in that how on earth does that make the game better. I'd say about 70-80% the players are right in that it should be a booking"

"Thought it was 2 points dropped rather than a point gained....they were there for the taking First half thought we played well, but think we would of had more chance of winning if Kudus started. Paqueta having that free role works brilliantly but would be even better if he had Kudus and Bowen on the wings to link up with. Also thought Emerson was going to be a big threat down our left till his silly yellow. Soucek again with under 20 passes at home? Absolute embarrasment.....scored a few tap ins lately but he should be nowhere near the side. Antonio also just doesnt work hard enough off the ball for me, gives the CB far to much time on the ball. We sit back inviting their defenders to have the ball. Compare that to their pacy high press.... for me thats so much more effective. It was no coincidence that we looked far better when the two worst footballers in the side went off Finally Aguerd....i've backed him alot this season but since then he has been shaky at best. Thought on the ball yesterday he was poor then bullied for their 2nd. Isak does nudge him but Aguerd is appealing for a offisde instead of playing to the whistle. Time for Dino to be given a run in the side As I say feels like 2 points dropped for me, Newcastle had injuries and first half were awful, yes the ref helped them out with the first goal and the Bruno red card but I also think Moyes was too slow to react to the momentum changing in the 2nd half. Kudus should of been put on earlier"

"I'm not against ref's giving a player the benefit of the doubt and using some common sense sometimes, even more so when he is thinking about brandishing a second yellow, but that yesterday was fucking B. I'm not into conspiracies etc, so just think he bottled it as both fouls were near to each other, but it was a blatant yellow in today's game and it probably has cost us an extra two points. As for Almiron, apparently the ref wasn't looking at him so he didn't see it, otherwise he simply has to give the yellow, and to be fair if the player was on a yellow he probably wouldn't have committed the foul for the second yellow. Still, Moyes didn't seem to upset after the game, so I'm not. We've had stuff go in our favour too, last season quite a bit, with one or two on here labeling us the luckiest side in the league!"

"My first (Live) game of the season yesterday and thought it was a decent game. How the Newcastle player didn‚Äôt get sent off for that ‚ÄúTactical‚Äù foul when he was already on a Yellow card I don‚Äôt know. As others have said the main criticism would be that he should have brought on Kudus much earlier when the game was starting to get away from us. Need to be more proactive. We definitely deserved a point though and almost won it with Bowen towards the end. Haven‚Äôt had a chance to look at the possession, ball retention and passes complete stats though so my opinion on the game might change after viewing them! ?üòâ"

"Dr Matt 11:41 Sun Oct 8 100% agree. Guimar?£es should have recieved second yellow and subsequently a red card. It was clear and obvious the prevention of a promising attack. That non decision changes the game and kept it in Newcastles favour. Also Almiron should have received a caution for gesticulating card production which Emerson received. Since the Liverpool v Spurs game with all the shit refereeing in that which has filtered to the other referee teams, they are increasingly under the spotlight and under more pressure. That pressure in my opinion creating inconsistancy and those decision are changing the complxion of the game. The Liverpool scenario could be that that those lost points mean they dont win the title or qualify for the champions league which is a massive loss in terms of revenue and kudos. Howard Webb has his work cut out."

We were in control for 3/4 of the game. Start of the 2nd half cost us. Newcastle should have been down to 10 men in the 1st half. Ref lost his nerve. We looked much better when Kudus came on. Shame he was only given 15. Another 10 may have been enough to get us all 3 points. Moyes needs to fit him in somehow. The one that drops to the bench should not be Antonio. Be interesting to watch Kudus with Antonio stretching play and giving him more space. Soucek seems back to having the skill of scoring goals without ever really doing much else. I think it is him that needs to make way. Moyes however would not do that when he was offering absolutely nothing so he wont do it now he is scoring. May be a bit harsh on Soucek and he works hard and is getting on the score sheet but in terms of linking up play he offers next to nothing.

"Pentonville 11:35 Mon Oct 9 And: AWFUL refs decision not to book Almiron for waving the imaginary yellow card, when he’d earlier booked Emerson for that. At least Emerson was the one fouled! Almiron went on to get booked in the second half which would have seen him go! Newcastle should have had 2 sent off! Ref was as bent as fuck!"
