"The last time I used that airport was for the Bucharest away match last November. Otherwise, I avoid it like the plague."

"A shithole maybe, but how many airports have had a song about it? Always found it rather odd that the England team always used it, maybe still do? I'm not sure if I've ever been there, maybe once, I can't remember things like that."

"I flew to Tel Aviv from Luton in March, most of the passengers were frummers , no grief from any one at check in. Got asked a few extra security Q’s tho but I suppose that’s normal. Flying to Nice on the 20th."

"Did I read 1200 cars damaged and part of the car park collapsed? I parked there in that car park end of last year. When one of the budget airlines started flights to Tel Aviv, we started using it for flights and it always bothered me, mainly because its surrounded by low hills and is a muslim dominated area, most of the airport staff (especially border control) were muslim. But we always got thru pretty quick and they didn't turn it into a shopping centre with a runway. But yes, its a shithole airport in a shithole town. BBC are ensuring we know that it might well have been caused by a diesel car, not an EV!!! Saying it was an EV is misinformation you bigots!"

"Whatever the damage it will improve the place 500%. Was convenient for me, too, being only 4 or 5 stops up the line from where I lived, but I, too soon opted to fly out of other airports. In fact, the only time I found it passable was when my train broke down and I got there just in time to catch my flight. In - and through - like Flint."

"Razzle, I echo that. Ghastly place. I've refused to fly out from there for years. Last time I was there, half of the main check-in area was boarded up with deafening building work going on, and the place stank of urine and worse, as though some chucklehead had put his shovel though multiple soil pipes. It's annoying because the location is really convenient for me, what with it being served by Thameslink. But I'd rather go many miles out of my way to Gatwick rather than Luton."

"Be paying a £10 to drop off now... If ever using that Airport Long stay is best. I used the Mid stay, you have to lug all your luggage up the road to the terminal in whatever weather. Shit airport."
