The Boeing 737Max Arena would probably go down quite well.

As the LS is a great big advertising space on the flightpath into LHR it is amazing that the stadium rights haven't been snapped up and a huge company logo swathed over the roof... would like to hope it wouldn't get planning permission but any excuse to fuck up the skyline. Personally would absolutely hate us playing at 'Gulf Airways Stadium'.

"If we nail a straight 4th season in Europe I'd put my house...OK, YOUR house... on an Arabic airline becoming our stadium sponsor. Not because that's where people want to fly to, but where people are quite happy to fly through. I must confess I prefer a mid-journey stop to get off the plane, walk about a bit, stretch my legs and sit in a bar with a beer, rather than an unbroken 14/15 hours inside a metal sanitary towel container. For me, and, say, people who like to go and fuck under-age cripples in SE Asia, it's a pretty good option. Who's left after Etihad and Emirates?"

"""In all seriousness do we really want to have unlimited funds and be like Man City."" Yeah, I'd hate for us to be buying players like Haaland, and winning the league, FA cups and champions league, and having state of the art training facilities. Much better in what we're doing now...."

"Bexley nah mate l don't think our or other leagues will be feeder clubs for Arab league, seems most of players over there are older and end of their careers plus many seem to hate it there. But agree with your last sentence no way l want Arabs owing us"

"Looking past the money at the bigger picture, the Arabs are making a play to take elite football / sport over there. What better way to do that than own all of the top clubs in Europe? We're already seeing players going over there on ridiculous contracts. Give it 10 years and the likes of City, PSG and Newcastle will be feeder clubs for their leagues. Everyone is blinded by the money that comes with being owned by a Saudi Prince. No one questions why someone with zero interest in anything outside camel racing wants to be such a big player in Football, golf etc. I don't think they want to own clubs, they want to own the sport. Fuck being owned by Arabs."

"Jim Ratcliff would be better. In all seriousness do we really want to have unlimited funds and be like Man City. I think that part of the joy of supporting West Ham is the misery interspersed with moments joy. Don't you think it would become boring to expect to win every game and to become dejected by only finishing second in the league... obviously it would take a while to catch up with Man City and the first few years would be enjoyable... after that I suspect that the fun might begin to wane. Anyway, I don't suppose it will happen."

There would be complete meltdown from the Jewish community if Arabs bought West Ham or Spurs. It won't happen although I can see them buying the London Stadium at some point. They could then put their own team in it.

I doubt if the tickets will get cheaper. Suspect it will be the complete opposite. It's the biggest myth in football now that west hams tickets are cheap . 10 .000 are priced correctly for youngsters and pensioners . But the others are way overpriced my nephew last Xmas against Brentford paid £55 for his ticket and £30 for his 12 year old boy . Given they live in Clacton it must have been close on £200 weighed out overall . When I first saw my 1st west ham game in September 86 I paid £2 . Different world then .

"Percy you know the Jews were from the East End before many relocated to North London. We have/had a lot of Jewish fans and History. David Gold now passed to his daughter as current owners, I can't be arsed but it has been done before on here someone posted up a thread Jewish West Ham supporters or such like few years ago and the list was voluminous over the years."
