Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
Of course you didn't goose because you knew even if he'd been called an ITALIAN cսnt he would have still reacted.....it would have also been the same if he were called a Lazio cսnt....or even a West Ham cսnt......hopefully this will help with you being overly offended....then you Itai...

Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
"It was a cool story goose, he was down faces nearly every time we played at home along with the rest of the team......never saw him pissed once.... ....so here's where you've fucked yourself goose....are you saying Paolo wouldn't have lost his shit if the Sunderland fan had just called him an Italian cսnt? Hahahahaha! you STILL haven't given the reason where the actual offensive bit of Eyetie is.....WW2 is just a bollocks reason considering you were on the lowlife scum side of that war."

"These days, Les Rosbifs are in danger of being overtaken by Les Roslentils."

That ref Alcock went over in episodes and Paoo should have chinned Winterburn on the way off
Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
"Is it the Italians or the Spanish that call us English, RosBifs? I'm offended by it ;-)"
Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
"Cool story. Ironically I met him while he was manager of Sunderland, they were away at Southampton and were staying in the same hotel as my cousins wedding. There was an altercation with some locals that made the papers on the Monday. During the fracas someone called him an ‚Äòeyetie cսnt‚Äô and he lost his shit."

"Yep,in Faces way back then ""I'm so fucking glad you pushed over that ref Paolo as I doubt we'd get to see what you can do with a football week in week out, but you Eyeties know how to play a bit of football"" he just grinned and did his very best roman salute.....must have got it all the time with pissed up West Ham cunts like me in clubs......he must have also known Eyeties is short for Italians....."

Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
So what if it were used during WW2 you got mentioned quite a bit for some reason.....and tbh you could have been nicknamed something that was actually offensive......all we did we shortened saying 'The Italians' to 'The Eyeties'.....the Germans got Jerries the Japanese got Japs....considering what happened you should be thanking us we didn't come up with something actually offensive....we missed a trick I'd say.....

Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
"""The origins are largely from WW2"" Does that mean it becomes a racial slur because you lost the war?"
Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
"The origins are largely from WW2. Like i said, if you use it amongst people you know and its good natured then its not offensive. Starting a thread on a public website and using it - probably not so clever. the Duchess would not be happy (RIP Gavros)."

Then you goose haven't quite got the hang of how the English speak....we shorten everything and Eyeties is short for Italians unless you can find another meaning for it petal......

"If we're really at a point where I-Tai is a slur, then we truly are fucked. Come on ffs"
Re: England v Eyeties Euro Qualifier
I'm saying you wouldn't use the term because it's rude. especially with people you don't know. to me its akin to using the phrase 'nip' for an oriental person. i'm sure if you googled it the definition would say its a racial slur.
