Gianluca Scamacca Gone
"Taking to Twitter, the Italy international wrote: “Dear West Ham. “While my time in London didn’t go the way I had planned, some of my greatest life moments were made here. And for that I’m forever grateful Thank you to the players and staff for making me feel so welcome, and the fans for their continued support. “I will continue to support this fantastic club from home in Italy, and will be keeping in close touch with the lifelong friends I have made whilst in England Thank you for everything, Ciao.”"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca
Could do with a loan option too - like Greenwood (seems to be out of Man Utd’s plans).
Re: Gianluca Scamacca
"He is exactly the type of striker we should be going for and need. Not too good that we don't have a chance, but good enough that he's worth forking out a bit of cash and taking a bit of a risk. Anyone better will be going to bigger clubs. Anyone shitter will be going to smaller clubs."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca
"Hermit Quick enough to score 16 goals last season. Which is more than both our strikers and 10 more than the other striker we were trying to bring in. He might not be lightning fast, but he's not slow."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca
How slow is this geezer? We are to have trouble buying strikers who can run faster than centre backs.

Re: Gianluca Scamacca
Texas that’s ridiculous Whether he succeeds or not him and Broja are exactly the type of player we should be going for. Young hungry with loads of potential Look at the rent boys they paid a 100 mill for lukaku and 50mill for Werner and neither can get in their team. We need to be buying the best from the next level down below the regular champions league clubs. Out of interest who do you think we should be going for??? Lewdonski lukaku even Jesus had much bigger clubs after him than us in better European competitions

Re: Gianluca Scamacca
"Not exactly what SKY are saying.... West Ham have agreed a £35.5m deal to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, with personal terms now under discussion. The Hammers have agreed to pay an initial £30.5m with £5m in add-ons for the 23-year-old, who scored 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances last season for the Italian side. The deal includes a 10 per cent sell-on clause for Sassuolo. West Ham also remain interested in Chelsea striker Armando Broja and dialogue between the clubs remains open."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca
According to Caughtoffside West Ham United have got their man in Gianluca Scamacca as everything is signed and their hunt for a striker is set to end. It was reported earlier today by Sky Sports that West Ham had agreed personal terms with Scamacca but now everything seems to be concluded and heading towards an official announcement.

Re: Gianluca Scamacca
I'm not expecting much from Scamacca... Second or third level strikers are now 35million...effing hell... Same old Hammers procrastinated signing rituals...most unprofessional in the league...

It seems other clubs sign their players instantly because we don;t read about links, talks and all that shit. I'm sure on WolverhamptonWanderersOnline or wherever, they have the exact same gripes. That and obviously with us Sullivan can't just agree terms simply. He's got to look for any pennies he can pinch or a way to say to everyone he got the better end of the deal and outsmarted and outnegotiated the selling club. So there's endless quibbling about trivial details and amounts of money etc. As was mentioned yesterday, I'm sure plenty of clubs dread doing business with him given his reputation in the game."

Why is it that signing a player always takes soooooooooo long with us - Sassoulo have a greed the Transfer but its going to take 3 days to do a medical sign him and announce it...

"RoyalDocksGK we all know that we are not blessed with strikers but we don't want duds such as Zaza, Hugill and Ajeti."
