Gianluca Scamacca Gone
"Taking to Twitter, the Italy international wrote: “Dear West Ham. “While my time in London didn’t go the way I had planned, some of my greatest life moments were made here. And for that I’m forever grateful Thank you to the players and staff for making me feel so welcome, and the fans for their continued support. “I will continue to support this fantastic club from home in Italy, and will be keeping in close touch with the lifelong friends I have made whilst in England Thank you for everything, Ciao.”"

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
Or we lead them to believe they have a chance of signing him but just before we give them permission to talk to him we say NO.

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
I like the idea Chelsea are lumbered with Broja and no £30 million plus income over which they can be jerking West Ham about

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"https://ghanasoccernet.com/lucy-ward-will-be-impressed-if-west-ham-united-seal-a-deal-for-gianluca-scamacca Good interview with Lucy Ward on the Italian. Scamacca was a raw talent, but it was Ruud V-N at PSV who honed his skills, becoming a mentor. Luca then returned to Italy with real success. He's a very good player, a goalscorer and target man, garnished with a silky touch. Says he could be the 'signing of the season' and will be 'impressed' if Moyes bags his man."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"good level of english, gets the club and seems excited. Yet, it still feels like Moyes needs to be convinced?"

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"goose 4:34 Wed Jul 27 ''I didn't know that David di Michele spoke so highly of us!'' Really?? You never knew that? Blimey, It's common knowledge, I thought everyone knew that!?"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Thanks goose, nice video to watch. hope he settles in well and quickly. be interesting to see how moyes plays. will he play him on his own and drop antonio back or play them both up there?"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"""So why did you want to come to West Ham?"" ""Well obviously I didn't, they barely registered on my radar until recently, I just wanted to come to the Premier League and play for the best wages in the world, and West Ham were the most desperate."" That said, I think he'll get bums off seats and be a great addition."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"RBshorty, yeah just watched it. Scamacca speaks really good English which is great and will help him settle in quicker."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Oh, and four at the back, in any formation please. We cannot play three CBs at this point - not the right players or abilities elsewhere. I expect 4-2-3-1 again, but 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1 all in our locker I guess."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Kostic would now be the perfect player to get in, as others have said. Almost like the reverse of getting Payet, but then not pressing for the perfect target for his crosses. Seem to remember there was a chance of using Payet to convince Lacazette briefly. Worth investing in a fullback with superb crossing ability, as it also improves investment in Scaramanga."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
I think 3-5-2 will be used a lot more by a variety of teams in the premier league those season. We changed to that formation a couple years back and it rejuvenated us. It's not pleasing on the eye no but when we've got fuck all hope of the counter attack working it's a good option for us to have.
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Kaiser Zoso 1:52 Wed Jul 27 We aint got to CBs to rub together at the moment, we definitely aint got three in any state to play. Fucking hate three/five at the back, shit negative tactics"

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Agree with Northy B, looks like an overdue change to our set up, and it looks to me like we’ll be playing wing backs until Aguerd is fit. Kostic would then be an obvious move. Might mean Cresswell isn’t such a liability for the short term and we don’t have to rely on Arthur"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"I have a good feeling about this signing, regardless of some of the pessimism on here. Comes with a good reputation despite his age, yeah the prem is more physical and a better league than Italy, but remember Italy has very good defenders so he’s no mug. Time will tell, but I hope he’s a starter sooner rather than later because I don’t see him as an impact sub. Having a fit Antonio coming on in games though is a big plus!"
