Gianluca Scamacca Gone

Post Gary Strodders shank »

"Taking to Twitter, the Italy international wrote: “Dear West Ham. “While my time in London didn’t go the way I had planned, some of my greatest life moments were made here. And for that I’m forever grateful Thank you to the players and staff for making me feel so welcome, and the fans for their continued support. “I will continue to support this fantastic club from home in Italy, and will be keeping in close touch with the lifelong friends I have made whilst in England Thank you for everything, Ciao.”"

"Liverpool got NUNEZ, who right now, can't trap a bag of cement. We got Luca for half that price. His link-up play is superior. Mancini reckons Luca has everything it takes to be a 'complete forward'. Mancini blessed his move to the London Stadium. Looks like he's going to be a star."

All the pundits I've seen say he is quick so no idea where the impression of him having concrete boots comes from. I'm sure that pace won't be his issue but we will need to play to his strengths and get players around him. Too often we look like we have no plan of attack and it's disjointed regardless of who s playing up front.

Some players rely on pace and only pace for their game. For example Michael Owen was never the same when he lost his extra yard and Ryan Fredericks would be nowhere near the Prem. For some it's a bonus but not an essential. For others they just don't need it. Sir Trev anyone?

"Di Canio didn't need pace, he had the mind and skill that meant he didn't need it. Mind you, he had pace when it came to celebrating his goals. But he did score some belters."

Not just David di Michele but in the interview with James richardson he also mentions that Mancini when he asked him about moving to the PL said We would be perfect for him! Pedro Obiang who now plays for Sassuola also spoke highly of us.

"er... if I may, Kostic is a left wing back who would replace Cresswell and, as far as I can tell Zieli?Ñski isn't busy with ""a war"". Also, I'm not sure who is going to be replacing Fornals if he is to be a substitute for most of the season."

So many things wrong here. Kostic isn’t a full back. Zielinsky is busy with a war. Raspadori doesn’t play for us. Fornals will be a substitute most of the season. Apart from that great effort.

"Are we still being linked with his former teammate at Sassulolo, Raspadori ? Could be a wise move to have 2 fellow countryman and former teammates together in our attack Then we could concentrate on the CM"
