Gianluca Scamacca Gone
"Taking to Twitter, the Italy international wrote: “Dear West Ham. “While my time in London didn’t go the way I had planned, some of my greatest life moments were made here. And for that I’m forever grateful Thank you to the players and staff for making me feel so welcome, and the fans for their continued support. “I will continue to support this fantastic club from home in Italy, and will be keeping in close touch with the lifelong friends I have made whilst in England Thank you for everything, Ciao.”"

"Like Haller he'll bang in goals for fun then rock up at a Champions League club. Moyes is poison, get the jock cսnt out."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
It was pretty obvious from day 1 that this bloke like Haller could not succeed in a Moyes team Where I disagree with most people blaming everything on Moyes is both were lazy cunts I don’t remember a single game from either player where they looked like they were busting a gut for 90 mins I’m glad to see the back of the ear cupping prick tbh Hopefully this will allow us to sign a player that’s actually going to try but it would help if this time we try and sign a player who can actually run….faster than a dead snail

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
This ‘mardy’ tag that gets thrown about stems from the non ability by said strikers to play football….why are we blaming FOOTBALLERS for being prevented from doing exactly that. Our best player has been sold and has pretty well said it’s one of the main reasons he had to leave for what could be argued earlier than required and had we played some decent football….

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Scorch - so true. If I were Paqueta, I’d be knocking on the chairman and managers’ door, saying: “What’s the plan? Last season, I was lining up alongside one of the best midfielders in the world. Now it’s me and Conor Coventry in practice games. I’m Brazil’s #8, mate, not Scott Mean.”"

"How many good strikers do we blame for being shit under Moyes, before realising that Moyes is the fucking problem?"

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"This bloke is going to go and score a lot of goals for someone else. I’m sure of it. How embarrassing to let Haller go and now Scamacca because our manager doesn’t understand how to use them. Even more concerning, this leaves us ever more short handed. Especially if Antonio is on the way. Ings and Mubama the only strikers on the books? Fucking worrying. It almost feels like we are being asset stripped or something deliberate is going on, and Paqueta and a few others must be getting really itchy feet considering how this summer has shaped up so far."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Scamacca had the mardy vibe too. Whether that can be attributed to Moyes tactics, who knows? I think both players would enjoy their football more under a manager who will play to their strengths, that’s for sure."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Simon, All true - but Haller visibly getting the hump during games, and strolling about on occasions, didn’t help himself. But, yeah, strikers must get very fed up with Moyes’ tactics. He consistently ignores their strengths - unless it is chasing people/the ball into channels like Antonio is willing to. Interestingly, both Scamacca and Haller thrive when they have another striker close to them/around them. But Moyes won’t play two up. So why does he sign these strikers? Did the same with Ings."

"Yes, I hope he does very well - every goal he scores will be a step towards the door for Moyes and his dinosaur game"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"southbankbornnbred All true, but you could have replaced that post with Haller instead and it would have read exactly the same (apart from his nationality). But Haller was the problem…… I look forward to this thread being updated regularly ala the Haller one, when he starts banging them in."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"If Scamacca goes back to Italy for less money than we signed him for - which now looks likely - then it’s yet more confirmation that Moyes is too 20th Century, inflexible and outdated for the Premier League these days. If you can’t make good use of Italy’s #9, a guy who is 6ft 5, good with the ball at his feet and a fine finisher, then YOU are the problem - not the player. Scamacca was always a square peg in a round hole at West Ham under Moyes. But they wasn’t the player’s fault. He’ll go back to Italy and score a stackload. Good luck to him - he genuinely wanted things to work out here, but he signed for the wrong manager."

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Who is the striker we should go for that will be perfect for the anti negative dire dour overpriced shit football that we will have to endure a week today Knowing Moyes he will sign Traore on the last day of the window and call him the next Antonio, when he been available all summer."
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Scamacca chose Atalanta over inter apparently, sorry to disappoint you Ludo :-) Hardly he's fault he was played up front in isolation and was injured, he still managed 8 goals so was far from a disaster"
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
Presumably Scamacca would have rather gone to Roma (who he supports) or Milan so glad they were outbid by Atalanta and the miserable cսnt didn‚Äôt get it all his own way‚Ķ. should get ¬£30m and 10% sell on fee has been included so not quite the disaster it could have been.

Let’s hope we sign someone that suits Moyes ball because that’s what it’s going to be.

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
He’s a good player however was easy to see early on that it won’t work out. Same with Ings. Not sure why we do it. The club have ‘experts’ being paid millions to get this right and time and time again they fuck it up.
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
Haller's been ripping it up in the Bundesliga as well - 8 goals & 4 assists in his last 10 games - and that was after recovering from cancer treatment. He'll probably score a bucketload next season. As will Scamacca no doubt.
Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Heads should roll for this, I’m not that bothered about him cos I thought early on he wasn’t gonna do the business but along with the Vlasic signing we’ve wasted some fucking money. All good for being due diligent and doing your homework aye Moyesy. Wanker"

Re: Gianluca Scamacca Signed
"Watch Scammaca go back to Italy and rip it up, just like Haller did when he left albeit in a poorer league but to me it just shows another negative in having Moyes as manager. Why waste all that money scouting him, dithering about getting him, paying upwards of 30 million and then season after selling him. It doesn't give any confidence to a striker thinking of coming here as 9 months later you have to plan your next move. Good for the agents no doubt but any decent striker wanting to make a name abroad or at a club will think twice about coming here and I can't say I blame them. Scammaca had something about him, but Moyes wants a big battering ram upfront and who better than the young and upcoming Antonio. Mubama won't get game time once Antonio is fit"
