I would heartily recommend firestarter to put Kodi onto a Fire box/stick. It cleans up the interface nicely and always keeps your Kodi up to date. https://github.com/sphinx02/FireStarter/

"Try updating the app and changing the authentication region to West or East. It can fuck about sometimes. Check your DNS is still good too. Even resetting your router can throw it out, that sometimes give the bad username error."

"""username and password not valid"" is the error message, if I recall. I use it via kodi, on the FireTV."

All about finding the best thing at the time. Things sometimes dont work. It happens when you want something for free. The PLP will be back up and running again soon. Even if that means you need an encryption on the users end.

"There are always lots of good quality options for games that are being televised live by Sky, BT or BBC yes. It's the ones where we're relying on international feeds that become far trickier to find - typically 3pm Saturday games - with the demise of PLP. But of course every game is broadcast live on a channel somewhere - so there will be a stream somewhere."

My nan set her Firestick up with Kodi and watched the boxing and the Cup Final in HD with no trouble at all. It's the damp in her back passage I'm worried about.

"There were a few issues with the football this weekend, but you can always find good quality links in the main places. You just have to look a bit harder! NJM and Robocop still had plenty of links."

"worm, it can be a bit hit and miss, when it works it is blinding, watched both of yesterdays games in perfect HD but when it doesn't it can be a ball ache. Beats paying Sky anyway....."

"It seems that the streams for PLP (Premier League Pass), which are some of the most reliable streams for 3pm Saturday games, are no longer compatible with Kodi. One of the popular channel owners tweeted ""nice while it lasted"" over the weekend, which suggests that the issue may be terminal. To me that makes having my FireStick a little less good. The next match I won't be attending is Chelsea away in late March, so hopefully someone somewhere will have sorted things by then."
