"My Phoenix has somehow disappeared When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone Has anybody else seen this? It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted Cheers"

Schoffie ~ It's very rare indeed that you can't get a decent enough stream for an EPL game somewhere! It's just a question of being positive & finding one! I've only struggled once to get a watchable stream for an EPL match in the last few years If we're all out there looking you can be sure that someone will find one & report it on this thread!

Was thinking of getting one but my mate raved it all up and couldn't get the game against Chelsea up.. Got the fucking hump in the end and marched up the new inn.

2Bob 7:18 Thu Mar 31 It's not that simple - as you still need some files on the SD card (which the Pi will always boot up from). It depends upon what version of Kodi that you are running - there are ones specifically for the Pi such as OpenElec and OSMC (was Raspbmc). There installs have an option to boot from USB stick - otherwise you have got to get into command line programming which is beyond me.

Face - I had the same issue but in the end I clicked on the ARM link about a dozen times and it finally worked. If that fails - and you have an Android phone - download the Kodi app and an app called apps2fire from Google play. The latter can send the former to your Firestick.

"Cough https://kodi.tv/download/ It's the APK install button I need to click to download Kodi, it's Just not having on the firestick. Might give it a go through a PC rather than a TV."

Tidy! Cheers chaps may give it a go tonight. I can see Sold smiling smugly in his IKEA leather arm chair stroking a tiny black lab puppy. Another convert. It's like wookentology...

"Pancho, there's a link further down this thread for instructions on how to install Wookie-Lite, I did it last night and it's spot on. It includes how to clear your current Kodi as well."

"Pancho 6:31 Thu Mar 31 Yes, I just installed Wookie Lite and it asks if you wish to clear stuff already installed on Kodi (I can't remember the exact wording)."

"2Bob I've got 3 Rapsberry Pies and they are fast enough for me. They are all the older Pi 2's. I run OSMC on them and have various addons and my library on them has 700 movies and 3,000 TV episodes which reside on a NAS. Scrolling through them is very quick - the only time it's slow is sorting by genre on 20,000 music tracks. The simplest thing to speed it up (if you've not already done it) is to run Kodi off a USB stick, rather than the SD card. You still need the SD card to boot up the kernel and then everything else is on the USB stick which is much faster."

Wonders - so if I install Wookie Lite I won't need to do anything it'll take care of the Kodi install I already have?

"NS - where do you get your sports in hd? I've found nothing for sky sports in hd, and since Robocop died nothing for bt sports that comes close to the quality. I've installed and un-installed wookie as it fucked my Robocop up, wookie deleted the repo so I can't get it back now either. I found a decent sky sports on castaway...but it ain't hd"

To be fair I never take much notice of the super hero back drops.... although the Wall-E for the kids section is kinda cool.... I like it as it has everything there... all within a couple of clicks... wookie.lite is not so clunky and has all the essentials and a few others on top... don't need to worry about any solo instals and updates as they are all done for you... wookie tools is piss easy to clean your stuff... 5 mins to install... not sure what else they could do to make it better ?
