"Alan ~ Much appreciated thanks! I'd been trying on countless occasions to fix it Just by chance, I went on to AresWizard (which had recently been having issues that are now resolved) > Tweaks On there it advised a change to ""General Settings"" which it automatically calculates for you I did the change & Hey Presto! Everything is now not only fine with MP3 player but my Kodi is going 10x quicker I would highly recommend AresWizard Tweaks to anyone using Kodi"

"Can any of you c...., wise experts help please? When I use the MP3 app the track plays for about 20 secs then just stops It was working fine a month or so ago. It doesn't seem to be the download speed as the same thing happens with my sisters Kodi in Stamford or my friends Kodi in Newcastle I don't know whether or not anyone else has the same problem, whether it's the app or if there's a good alternative app i can use for music Any help much appreciated"

"The Ghost of Braderz 6:28 ~ Cheers for that, but I can't take the credit for Specto WHOicidal Maniac advised me to look at Specto further down this thread (Apr 29th) . It is good for TV shows though! I haven't personally tried paid services for football since our download speed never gets over 3Mbps so it might not be worthwhile from a reliability point of view That said, Kodi isn't supposed to work for speeds less than 4mbps or for HD at speeds less than 8Mbps yet we often get very good streams in HD for films without buffering (particularly on Exodus & Velocity) Live matches are not so good unless we use SD The joys of living out in the sticks"

"I use M Box for paid content, for that reason, scrabbling around for streams which often went down. Have now cancelled Sky, pay £15 a month for all sky sports, BT sports and all sports channels from around the world in HD. Well worth the money."

"jack flash 9:53 Sun Jul 17 Glad I popped into this thread to have a look. Been struggling with good quality, and generally reliable episodes of Two and a Half Men. It seems Specto has it just right. It uses videomega.tv as a host. Perfect. Also, has anybody got any experience with paid services for the football before? Struggled with streams last year and I think I'd pay a small amount to get a large amount of stress free football. Any suggestions welcome"

"Bernie 2:07 Depending on the box you're using, as a rule of thumb I wouldn't download or record anything (Others may tell you different) For watching games already played I use AresFootball or FootballHighlights Live matches it depends on the day & your download speed Phoenix Turks & Sports Devil are the old standby, but there's loads to pick from now, just experiment! Halow, SportsMix, ChampionsSport, MJN, Bulldog to name but a few Exodus is easily the best for films. After that I use Velocity, Turks or Phoenix Specto for TV shows It changes all the time though Worth looking at KodiMichaels site to keep you updated"
