"I have one of these box things. Setting up in the bar next week. Do I have to do anything to get sports? I think I read there's a monthly subscription of 6 quid or summink? I literally only want it for sport too, not interested in anything else."

"Are you using an android box? if so close wookie, go to settings, apps, select wookie, clear data. there might be a way to do it within wookie that someone else can suggest. tbh ive never had an issue updating wookie without clearing the data first."
Re: Kodi XBMC
Jonesy The T8 v4 is the way to go at moment. I use a build called Wookie which doesn't all for you. Wookiespmc.com There's an idiots guide on site how to install. Easy for beginners mate. Once you suss it you an mess with other builds.
Re: Kodi XBMC

"Subbo ~ I live way out in the sticks! I don't get any internet on the phone at home, let alone 4G! (A lot of the time we can't even get a phone signal either) If I drive about 5 miles down the road I can sometimes a phone internet signal That's how bad it is"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"Jack Flash...why is the internet so slow? Can you get 4G on your phone. I have similar setup to MonkeyFunk (a bit cheaper, and Sky only plus all pay per view, .*ahem* adult, etc...30 quid for the hardware and 10 quid for 12 months access). Can use wireless through your phone if have a 4G phone...uses hardly any data but needs good general connection speed. Agree re. Kodi for non televised Sport, and especially Box Sets and Movies. Topped off with an NBC subscription for EPL, and it's all covered."

Re: Kodi XBMC
"munkyfunk 6:29 ~ Think it's a question of horse for courses here I can't get to many matches these days & there are not too many matches shown live on Sky Last season I managed to get a watchable live stream for all our EPL & Cup games (with a certain amount of messing about in a few instances!) I rarely watch Match of the Day as I cannot stand the bias against us & we're always on last I can watch our whole match on AresFootball on a perfect stream after the game has been played The film quality on Exodus, Velocity & AresMovies is excellent. I see a lot of films I wouldn't otherwise see Now that I have MP3 Player working properly I can listen to tracks before deciding whether or not I want to buy the CD Our internet speed is appallingly slow at 1.5Mbps to 2.5Mbps Most of the apps have improved massively even over the last few months"

"Casual I have a zgemma h2h. Has both sky and vir feeds, reason I run the vir is its hd. Sat side of these zgemma cannot do movies sports in hd only Virgin is hd and free terrestrial channels. You must have Virgin fibre in house though, you do not need Virgin TV active though. The tits had no issues at all, just make sure your line supplier is decent or you will get glitches. Any ag drop me a whomail"

"I ve ordered a Zgemma H2S box, it will come loaded with a sky ""skin"" and kodi. Apparently all I need is a dish and decent broadband. Anyone else got one? Thoughts?"
