"My Phoenix has somehow disappeared When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone Has anybody else seen this? It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted Cheers"

"jack flash 10:31 Cheers mate, After looking into it all, ive decided to buy an amazon firestick and then hopefully install Kodi and go from there. I don't want another box with leads coming from my tv :) then I will probably pay the annual 50quid to subscribe on sportsmania. Will let you all know if it was a success"

"champ007 3:56 I got started in about March this year with an MXIII box I got on Ebay through Droidsmart. I paid about Ôø?50 I think I got lucky as I really haven't had a lot of problems & their backup/maintainence service is very good They have their own update wizard which keeps everything up to date (& resets everything if you foul up) You learn as you go along which I find quite fun Kodi Michael is a really useful site if you want to install something or need a tutorial (Droidsmart also have several useful tutorials on their site) I would definitely install AresWizard (see Kodi Michael's site) & I also use Halow (can be installed from AresWizard) I tried Wookie (which most people seem to recommend) which was OK, but reverted back to the system I was on, which is more convenient to update through Droidsmart You just have to experiment a bit to find the add-ons you prefer Most problems arise from poor internet speeds & you won't get slower than mine (1.5Mbps to 2.5Mbps) Using ethernet connection/range extender can make a massive difference (expect to pay about Ôø?25 to Ôø?30)"

"Alright lads. I'm a complete novice to all this, but still want to jump on the bandwagon. What is the best/easiest device I should buy? Just want a usb stick that I can plug into my smart tv. Is the Amazon firestick the way to go?"

"jonesy when i got my first android box the wifi was so bad that the only way i could use it was via ethernet, even though my box was only a couple of feet away from the router. it was down to poor wifi components in the box, nothing to do with my router or how fast the connection was."

"As Cough says - the Firestick lacks an Ethernet port so you are dependant upon wifi for connectivity. Unless it's next to your router you will probably suffer from buffering, especially for anything in HD. Much better to pay the extra and get something with an Ethernet port and use Powerline adaptors to connect if your router is not nearby."

"Yes, Firestick is more than good. If you're going to use a build then recommend wookie lite. use adLink to side load Kodi 16.1 onto the firestick"
