"Problem Child 9:55 ~ Speaking as a smug fucker I would say you've got it pretty well sorted but for what it's worth this is what I do:- Sportsnation HD = great VFM & superb streams for FOOTBALL, LIVE TV & MOVIES (in fact I find the movies on there every bit as good as Exodus) Exodus = top MOVIE app MP3 = best for MUSIC AresFootball = best for MATCHES PLAYED catchup The Beautiful Game = good for MATCHES PLAYED catchup AresWizard = great app for MAINTENANCE & TWEAKS Mobdro = Useful ALL ROUNDER / alternative to Kodi I use Droidsmart Wizard UPDATES (who I bought my box from & find them pretty good for someone just starting as I was) I am absolutely delighted how everything works for me!"

Re: Kodi XBMC
"After spending half of last season listening to you smug fuckers, I took the plunge for the Chelsea game and downloaded kodi, got a vpn (I'm in Germany where ze authorities take a moody view of illegal streaming & downloading, and signed up to sports nation hd. Apart from the shit on show, it was amazing. So now I'm a smug fucker too. I'd be grateful if someone could recommend the next essential step after what I've done above. I'm not a big tv viewer but I like to watch the latest series now and then. Or the odd movie. Is there something I really should be installing? I'm watching on a Mac. Much obliged."

"Question I've been struggling to answer that is massively pissing me off... I have a Nexus 7 with Kodi installed from Google Play Store (so I am lumbered with their latest version). I've put Wookie lite on it and all works fine apart from some apps that seem to work fine on other devices which is driving me mad. On the PC I have the latest Kodi with Wookie lite but I see different apps on the PC than on exactly the same set up on the Nexus.....very odd. On the PC some games will work fine streaming on Sports Devil, but the same links on the Nexus won't stream.....I've tried using the free VPN app on Google play on the Nexus but it makes no difference. Any ideas what is going wrong here? Could it be google play store has outdated version of Kodi?"
Re: Kodi XBMC
Does the firebox have an optical audio output? It's the only downside to the stick so far that I can't connect to my amp with optical.

"Cheers Dan that's exactly what's happened, back to Confluence I'm going to have a stab at uninstalling kodi which is 15.2 I think and go for the 16 which is the new one. Exodus is brilliant and is the main add on I use!"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"Devo - I've had that a couple of times. I think it's more to do with Kodi software updates as it's just reverted the appearance and other settings back to the default ""Confluence"". As annoying as it is, it seems to be good practice to uninstall and reinstall every so often. Also just installing the individual add-ons you actually use and then sticking a skin over the top seems to work better on the FS than an all-encompassing build. I've just got Exodus, Phoenix and Zem with the Metropolis skin."

Re: Kodi XBMC
Something strange happened Saturday night with my Fire Stick! All the build disappeared and I was just left with Kodi. Right out of the blue. Add ons still on there but accessing a bit clunky. Are internet providers going to start trying to sabotage Kodi users?

"fraser/happy, Upgrade to the Amazon Fire box chaps, it handles kodi like a fucking dream. I found those android boxes a bit poxy to be fair. Had the Amazon box six months now, it's a class bit of kit and 70 notes well spent. Don't bother with the stick, get the box. Plus I have netflix and amazon prime so it's brilliant for those as well (I was surprised the amazon box run netflix out of the box but it does). I have a clean install of kodi, Sports Nation HD, Exodus and Phoenix add ons and thats it! Don't need anything else. You don't always get what you pay for but in this case you definitely will."

"happy, £17 quid for 3 months, £50 for a year and WORTH EVERY PENNY. Utterly top quality, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and actual Sky/BT"

"Fraser, what hardware you running on? I had a 2 year old android box that coughed and spluttered at everything, since loading Kodi onto my Amazon Fire Box it's been an utter revelation. Every channel I've looked at on Sports Nation has been first class, including the Sky ones."
