It does not slow it down though Sid... after everything I watch I go to wookie tools... delete packages and cache... takes all of 2 seconds... and it's as zippy as a 50cc Vespa around Rome

"NS, That's the point right there. Why reinvent the wheel?! You have mentioned 4 addons there you use when Exodus or SALTS actually are as good as each other, so that's basically three addons you actually use? How many are on wookie lite?! All clogging up your hardware and slowing things down? I still see no point in having more addons than you actually use, especially on something like a firestick which will clog up in no time."

"I have installed the matrix app which i can watch sports nationhd through it without having to go into kodi. So far its been good, but is there a downside to watching via matrix and not going into kodi?"

Noticed there was an update on Exodus last night when I kick started me box... will this have sorted out these supposed `if you use Exodus it will blow your box up' problem?? To be fair regarding films I normally go between Exodus and SALTS... both as good as each other... other main ones I use are UK Turk (great docs) and same with Phoenix... in fact just load WOOKIE.LITE up... it's all on there... along with all the great maintenance stuff that keeps my box purring like a newly tuned Lambretta SX240.... why invent the wheel...

"Mac, you retarded cսnt :) The purpose of having a maintenance tool is to clean the cache, packages and thumbnails, it will affect the quality of your streaming. There are a couple of decent ones but I find they have loads of other tweaks I never use or need to use. The EZ one is a basic but effective cleaner Okay, this guy will show you how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfSN877xzDc It's supposed to autoclean but I manually do it anyway. What it does do is when you start up Kodi it will flash up and tell you what the cache is. The developer is the same bloke that has made Zen so both repos are in there if you want Zen as well."

"Yes, just install Kodi then get the addons you want. Just google how to add them, loads of sites telling you how."

"Oh and add on the EX Maintenance program add on, I think it comes with the Zen repository so you can install it from there if you want it. Great, simple cleaner that automatically cleans your cache, packages and thumbnails when you start Kodi There are some decent cleaners like ARES wizard and Echo but they again have so much built into them, I just need a cleaner which clears the lot without me scrolling through endless options. I have used Kodi for over 2 years now and my best advice is just a few addons and pay for Sports Nation HD!"

"Nope but everyone is different. Some people love garish skins and a gazillion add ons but trust me, you will find one or two reliable ones and only use them. Exodus (and it's predecessor Genesis) has always been top banana and the best for films and TV shows. Zen is a decent second. I got totally pissed off trying to find decent footie, trawling through dozens of crap streams so I paid my quid a week for Sports Nation HD and never looked back. Just beware that SN HD isn't working with Kodi 17 right now but it will soon enough. Sometimes less is more my friend."

"Leave it like that, don't fill it with bloaty addons you will never use and will just clog up your hardware. I basically use Exodus and Sports Nation HD and that's it. I have Zen as a back up to Exodus. Wjat else do you need?"

"Just a heads up, Sports Nation HD doesn't seem to work with Kodi 17.0 which has just been released. The Kodi app on my phone updated and I tried to load in the Sports Nation repo but it doesn't do anything. Stick to Jarvis until they get this sorted. I like the new look to be honest but there's no point if it will not work!"

"Little trick I discovered for anyone using PrivateInternetAccess VPN:- If you're set to ""Auto Connect"" BBC I-Player probably won't work If you set it to UK (either London or Southampton) it all works fine So far, apart from that, I'm happy with PrivateInternetAccess VPN which seems good vfm compared to the other VPN providers So do we need to change the settings on Exodus or will the normal update see to it?"
