"My Phoenix has somehow disappeared When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone Has anybody else seen this? It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted Cheers"

Re: Kodi XBMC
"Spandex - As you say - the only illegal thing is the uploading of copyright content to the internet. So people that have been caught running streaming sites have been prosecuted, but no-one in the UK has ever been found guilty of using a torrent to download/upload copyright material. Also no copyright holder has ever taken any torrent user to court as they know that they would almost certainly lose the case and therefore set a precedent that torrents are legal to use. All they do instead is send out letters threatening to take you to court unless you pay them £500 - normally citing that you have downloaded ""Anal Grannies - volume 3"" and if you pay up we'll keep quiet. As Kodi is open source, that could never be banned and whilst there may be pressure on the ISPs to stop you accessing streaming sites (how they try to block browser access to certain sites now), proxy sites and new ones just turn up. With more and more Slingbox type systems coming out, it doesn't cost much to set up a streaming site"

"El, so, ISIS can still promote their 'cause' on the internet, killing thousands, costing billions and not get stopped but the government are going to go to war with people who watch football matches? Yeah right. Sky must be having a nervous breakdown and they can't do anything about it, expect sly viewing figures to continually drop."

"No idea! I'm sure they are working on it though. There must be substantial pressure from all the copyright holders. Not knowing how it works myself I don't know if it's actually possible to police, but I am assuming one day they'll do something about it. Or instruct our ISPs to terminate our service if they can track us using it?"

"Your mum 2:33 Well yes, Kodi will continue to exist, but I'd imagine over time it'll no longer be possible to use add ons in the current way so therefore people will stop using it."
Re: Kodi XBMC
Sportsnation HD is the best purchase I've made in the last 2 years. A very close second to a Jeep sleeping bag I bought for a very reasonable £25

Re: Kodi XBMC
"They'll pass a law on it or alter an existing one soon enough, I am sure. In time Kodi will die or dry up especially for things like live sport, but something else will always spring up in it's place. I'm genuinely surprised that you can still stream games over the internet. The sites aren't hard to find, and it's been available for years now. I don;t know why they don't just make all non televised games available to stream in the UK anyway, like they do in the states with their sports. The PL could absolutely rake it in. So many people would do a season pass for 50-100 quid, I am sure. In order to make sure matchday attendences don't suffer, black out games where less than 75% of tickets have been sold to home and away supporters."

"I don't think these box sellers have much of a future anyway. It doesn't take long to learn how to load your own stuff on your own box. I can't see that FACT could do anything about Kodi anyway. As I understand it the only illegal thing is uploading of content to the internet, so torrents are a no no. But streaming seems to not be covered?"

Re: Kodi XBMC
"""Anyone else using the matrix app for sportsnation instead of kodi?"" Yes. On an iPad. Very pleased with it. Personally, I've had 2 iPads and neither has been very good at picking up wifi signals.. Any buffering problems I've had have almost certainly been down to that rather than a problem with the Matrix player."

"I assume the rest of your family uses the kodi box, so do you hide that one somehow? Errr no... it's on the Add on Vids... to be fair it's only the one add on... my missus only uses Showbox (separate app) and me daughter only watches Exodus for the films... one good thing about the clutter of Wookie they'd never find it in a year of looking"

"Northern Sold 12:07 Regarding your 'filth' add on. I assume the rest of your family uses the kodi box, so do you hide that one somehow? Just seen as I was wondering about the HYPOTHETICAL idea of similar add ons but it would HYPOTHETICALLY be a fucking pain to install and uninstall them depending on who is around or using the box. Is there a way of hiding add ons? Obviously if someone else is using it and sees EXODUS SPORTSNATION OBVIOUS HYPOTHETICAL FILTH That's not great..."
