World CupWilly - It looks like it wasn't available when I was there a few years ago which is probably why I hadn't heard of it! We had cable TV which had Fox Sports so were able to watch some Premiership matches (which we paid for) but they didn't show every West Ham game We paid for our own broadband (although there were an unbelievable number of unsecured connections available!) which was the only way to see our matches live

"Jack - Flow Sports is a TV broadcaster in the Caribbean that have the broadcast rights to all Premier League matches. Just like NBC have in the USA, beIN in the Middle East, etc. https://discoverflow.co/trinidad/tv/how-we-do-sports ""Cable & Wireless Communications Plc (CWC) today announced that it has won the exclusive rights to broadcast live all 380 matches per season of the Premier League across 32 Caribbean countries from 2016/17 to 2018/19. Commencing in August 2016, the Premier League will be available on the Caribbean’s newest sports network – Flow Sports. CWC was also awarded the mobile clip rights, allowing fans to follow the latest goals and action from the world’s best football league on any mobile device."" All the clubs get a cut as it's part of the international rights deal - each club should get about £47m each this season just from the international broadcasting rights."

"WorldCupWilly 4:33 Mon ~ Cheers for that. I wasn't trying to be funny as I genuinely didn't get your point! I've never heard of Flow Sports Premier & had no idea that you could watch streamed matches legitimately abroad Sadly, I sold my villa in Tobago about 5 years ago & rarely travel abroad now so it's unlikely I'll ever use Flow Sports Premier Are you saying that clubs are getting a cut from Flow Sports Premier then, & if so, is it not available in UK?"

"Not sure if it is or not Thames but so many people seem to be having problems with it, not just on here but on the pulse Facebook page, I'd err on the side of caution and stick with 16.1 just my opinion of course. It's so straight forward to uninstall etc I'd give it a go. I'm on 16.1 and a pulse build from ares wizard and it's working well. Hopefully I haven't cursed it by saying that! Good luck"

DukeofDevo I thought Krypton was now fully supported and out of Beta. I actually quite like the Krypton interface but the timeouts for streams is making it unusable.

"Jack - The point I was making is that people abroad have a much better chance of watching our matches legitimately. If you're not prepared to pay for Flow Sports Premier and watch the match legitimately when you're at your villa in Tobago, how's the club going to benefit."

Uninstall Krypton reinstall 16.1 and download one of the pulse builds you'll be laughing with joy! Krypton is still in the beta stage isn't it? Few wrinkles to be ironed out!

"Has Kodi had its day? Updated to Krypton on Amazon TV and installed Specto, Turks, Exodus etc and most streams are just unavailable. Seems pointless and the wait times for streams seem slow. Is it just my config or is it now that bad?"

"WorldCupWilly 1:55 ~ When I had my villa in Tobago I always managed to find a reasonable stream to watch our matches. I'm not sure what point you're making? As far as revenue is concerned, the club get zilch from me watching streams at present, so do not benefit at all from people watching streams of our matches As technology moves on there will come a time when deals between the clubs & the likes of Sky & BT will need to be renegotiated possibly with a deal on streaming rights being sold to individual clubs That of course assumes that Sky & BT are unable to prevent the streaming of their televised games!"

"jack flash 8:35 Thu Mar 9 *There are many of our supporters who live abroad or would like to follow the club when on holiday - It is far easier for fans abroad to watch our matches - for example tomorrow's match against Bournemouth is being broadcast live in 116 countries: http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/1980692/afc-bournemouth-vs-west-ham-united/ *I would have no hesitation in paying a reasonable subscription just to watch our games, particularly as the revenue generated would be of benefit to our club. - How would the Club benefit? If it were provided as an option by Sky/BT then the broadcasters would get the money - if they had to pay the Club a share of subscriptions then they wouldn't pay as much for the overall TV rights and the Club would get less from the central funds. You'd have the situation where the best supported clubs would then get the bulk of the TV revenues - as used to be the case in Spain where Real Madrid and Barcelona typically got about €140m a season and next best Atletico got under half that."

BetterthanKaka 11:51 ~ It's a mechanism that hides your address so that you could literally be using your device from anywhere in the world without leaving a trace It prevents your ISP from knowing that you're streaming in other words

"Propodkin 11:46 ~ PrivateInternetAccess is the VPN I've been using for about 2 months I did quite a lot of research I paid around Ôø?30 (quid) though it might have changed with the pound/dollar exchange rate You can pay through Paypal, which is convenient I found it easy to install & it doesn't seem to have significantly effected the speed (With living out in the sticks our speed is laughably slow ~ currently 2.5Mbps to 3Mbps, which is as high as it's ever been!) Everything works fine One tip I've found is NOT to set location to automatic There are 2 locations given in UK, which are London or Southampton (I live in The Lake District) I generally choose London Obviously, in different parts of the world you'd choose the nearest"
