Update - so as mentioned I did a clean install of 16 and installed SN. Then let Kodi update to 17. SN still works.

NOT SURE ON THAT CAUAL hOWEVER IF YOU HAVE 16.1 OR BEFORE YOU WILL HAVE ALREADY LOST ALOT OF THE EXODUS CONTENT Personally I#d rather have that on my Kodi and use Sportnation on a web browser

"Aha. Is that the case? I just deleted Kodi 17 off my phone and installed version 16 via an apk. Sportsnation duly back on the phone. So the conclusion is that a pre-existing SN add-on stays on Kodi when you upgrade to 17, but it can't be installed onto 17."

Eggbert I ve got Jarvis 16.1 currently with sportsnation. My understanding is sportsnation isn`t compatible with Kodi 17. If I follow your instructions and go up to 17 would I lose sportsnation as a video add on?

I have just tried both links in my browser .me points to nothing but .eu definitely points to a zip file

Have you tried both addresses? In the address bar at the top input http://sportsmania.eu/repo if that does not work then try http://sportsmania.me/repo either one will work.
