"Anyone worried about updating to 17.1 should just go ahead and do it. You will end up with a Krypton version and a Jarvis version on your desktop, or wherever you store your apps. I downloaded 17.1 on my Mac and when I opened it up it had copied all my settings over from Jarvis so it was a case of just using it. Jarvis still worked normally so it was always there as a safety net. I liked Krypton immediately. Couple of things you have to learn but really it's just the same, it just looks different. Jarvis will eventually break according to those that know, as developers write specifically for Krypton. You will all eventually have to move but it's really no big deal. For those who are first setting up, youtube is your friend."

16.1 Jarvis... I had a go at 17 and to be honest I found the picture very flakey.... could not find a way of settling it down like you can on 16.1 (advance settings.xml) so back to Jarvis it was...

The new Jodi interface is pretty crap Give the PULSE build a try it looks a bit sexier and has some nice add ons as shortcuts!

It is horrendous. I'm still on 16.1 using the Mimic skin with my own menu options/categories
