"My Phoenix has somehow disappeared When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone Has anybody else seen this? It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted Cheers"

Sky Broadband have started to block some streams now. Other than disabling my Sky Broadband Shield are there any better ways around it? What's a good free to download VPN? Would that work?

"From what I can tell the Firestick has caused this. It brought the concept of an Android box to the mainstream, followed by what you could put on it, followed by the quick buck of selling the ""fully-loaded"" versions in bulk on eBay. I've read interviews with add-on developers saying that British FS sellers have triggered the killing off of the whole thing."

"FACT have started mentioning that end-users are breaking the law a little more often, but as far as I can tell it's just the Daily Express that's making it sound like there will be specialised snatch squads arresting the 5 million people happily using ""those"" add-ons. I think we'll all be OK for a little while yet."

"Northern Sold ~ A couple of weeks ago I would have agreed with you entirely about switching to Krypton v17 However, all the addons on Jarvis v16 will gradually cease to work over the next few months unfortunately I came across this video on youtube:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx9aQUr-N0U Although I guess you are already on Android 6, I needed to update my sister-in-laws box to Krypton v17 (which was running on Android 4.4.2 which in theory is is incompatible with v17) So you don't have to take much notice of the 1st part of the video Don't ininstall v16.1 but update to v17.3, Once you have installed Krypton v17.3 go to AresWizard & choose & install your build on there I really like the Pulse Krypton build, which has much the same interface as v16.1 There's loads of new addons there for films, sport & documentaries with smooth-as-silk streams. Better than anything I've previously had on Jarvis, even with our crappy broadband speed I'm extremely impressed!"

"Updated Kodi on my Firestick from 16.x to 17.3 yesterday via the Downloader app. Really easy to do. Once the apk was downloaded it automatically updated the app, the add-ons and even kept the same skin in place. Following the ""change of repo"" email from Sportsnation I downloaded their Mania HD app onto my phone as well. All seems to work well and much easier to navigate than Kodi or their website on a small device."

They've changed name as they've had to run and hide from the Internet police I think.

"As I understand it, most of the addons on Jarvis v16.1 will crash & over the coming months so it seems now is the time to bite the bullet & upgrade to Krypton v17 I don't paticularly like v17 but can live with it now I'm used to it (I use Estouchy skin) I've just been upgrading my sister-in-law's MXIII box which is running on Android version 4.4.2 to Krypton I was led to believe this couldn't be done as Krypton requires Android version 5 or above Not so! I found a video on Youtube to show how it's done. All old versions of Kodi need to be uninstalled then download Kodi 17 from the following site:- http://aftv.hackmykodi.com It worked a treat, then you can download your addons from one of the wizards. I use Ares:- (add source) http://repo.ares-project.com/magic Exodus & Elysium (formerly Zen), MP3 player, ITV player, BBC player & Mania HD are all working fine! Saves shelling out for a new box! The only thing I'm not sure about is how to upgrade to v17.3 using Android 4.4.2"
