"worm 12:42 Wed Aug 23 Tried IPVanish over the weekend, didn't have much luck watching any game through MasterIPTV via my firestick. Put it on my phone and watched the Spurs v Chelsea game with no problems. Got a months subscription to VaderStreams and gave the Man City v Everton game a go on Monday night through the firestick. First half I watched through VS with Sky coverage, it kept buffering and dropping out. Second half I switched to NBC coverage for 20 minutes, streamed the game no problem. Switched back to Sky coverage, again buffered and dropped out, so changed again to NBC. Our game on Saturday has NBC coverage, so all should be good."

"Looks like I might have to just bite the bullet and get a VPN put on, then. IPVanish seems to be a decent one, from what little knowledge I have of these things. Anyone using it and have any opinions? Are the free ones as good? I just want to turn the bastard on and not have to fuck about with it too much. I'm far too important."

Has anyone got any experience of an openbox? I'm only vaguely interested because I need something for a sat connection in a spare bedroom.

Hi guys just cleaned my whole kodi and starting again I've managed to get all my add-ons back and create super folders to put them in but when I hold down on the add on it doesn't give me the option to add to super favourites like it does for everyone else on YouTube Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

"I use Vypr. Not had an issue, getting around 40mbps downstream and 20mbps upstream. I can use 3 devices at once, unlimited traffic and they have a decent response time from the servers in Europe. £49 a year. Works with my Android TV nicely."

Cheers for the free VPN info. Am I likely to need this for movies? My movie add ons seem to work fine at the moment. I thought it was just the sports they were blocking?

"No idea Josh. They do a free 7 days offer though. Try it. Edit: actually it won't work on Fire TV or Apple TV. For anyone looking for one to work on an Android box, it works a treat. Also, incredibly simple. If you can download an app, you can use this."

"A lot of the free VPNs have tight data limits, so might cause a problem if you intend to watch movies through it. For anyone looking for a very cheap and very simple to use pay VPN, Tunnel Bear has no data limits and costs about 80p/week. Works on Windows, Apple (not Apple TV) and Android. https://www.tunnelbear.com/"

"far Cough...unlikely you'll get a VPN setup in a standard router, and also the hardware specs tend to struggle with the encryption. I even tried repurposing an old laptop for the purpose and got it working as well as buying a nitehawk router that could run a VPN with the Tomato firmware flashed, but it was so much slower than running the VPN individually on the device accessing content it wasn't worth pursuing."

"Well, through Vader Streams the Sky coverage of the Man City v Everton game kept dropping out, or buffering, even with a VPR. For the second half I switched to NBC's coverage, again on Vader Streams, perfect viewing, didn't buffer or get cut off. Incidentally our game against Newcastle is on NBC."

"The games Sky have shown on their channels have been fine for me in the build up to a match, but as soon as the match starts it goes down. Couldn't get anything at all for our game on Saturday, neither could I get anything via my firestick for yesterdays games. Managed to watch the Spurs v Chelsea game on my phone through Vader Streams with IPVanish running in the background. Have put IPVanish on my firestick, so gonna try the Man City v Everton game in a while."

"Worm....on Saturday sky managed to shut down everything apparently and they were working on it. They say they have a fix for it and will be in place in the next couple of weeks and asap. Its a bit confusing on the Forum, cos it came across that you needed a vpn to watch anything until it is sorted, but at the mo im happily watching the sky footy with no vpn?? You will def need a vpn to watch it when there are Prem games on though. Yeah there is a few free vpn's...I downloaded one from the android store and its called superVPN....is free and piss easy to set up and it does actualy work as was watching a game yesterday with no problems whatsoever. Hope this helps"

Everything disappeared for me on Sat. Even the sky channels went. I've just put ip vanish on the box but haven't signed up and paid yet as the channels are all back up. Does anyone know if it will all go again on Sat and will a vpn fix this? While I'm here...is there a free vpn that actually works?
