Anyone installed the No Limits Magic build on 17.6. I updated to 17.6 and thought as Pulse build has stopped I would try the no limits one as it was rated as no.1 . Nothing seems to work and it is extremely slow so have deleted and started again. Any better builds that won’t slow kodi down. Cheers

"happygilmore ~ An upgrade would be the best solution! I wasn't expecting my sister's old Android 4.4.2 to work on v17 & wouldn't rely on it as a first choice but it does work & work well, though I don't know for how long. It's been going ok for about 3 weeks, to date It might be worth checking that your box is still running on v17 & hasn't automatically updated to v17.6. Just a thought!"

"Alan ~ Yes I was really surprised myself! I bought a spanking new box from Gearbest & gave my old box to my sister to replace her old Android 4.4.2 box (which I assumed could not handle v17 Krypton) Then I came across the video on Youtube & followed the instructions (apart from installing AresWizard & Pulse obviously) just out of interest The box performs incredibly well (& fast too!) against all the odds using the Titanium build. I've also got Youtube, Mobdro, LiveNetTVxyz & Showbox installed on it, which all work perfectly! The only thing that is different is the Kodi icon is replaced my the MyGica icon I've no idea what would happen if I tried to update to v17.6 (from v17.0) but why bother if it's working well? No doubt, in time it'll expire!"

"Jack, you've done well if you've got it running OK on an Android 4. I tried it on a mate's 4 and while it installed and ran (slowly) for a couple of weeks, it ended up running like an old dog, with films cutting out half-way through and the box constantly freezing. Couldn't be doing with that when shiny new ones are fairly cheap now."

"happy Gilmore ~ You don't necessarily need a new box! You can run Krypton v17 on Android 4.4.2 no problem. Look up the video on YouTube (On the video here tells you to get the Pulse build from Ares Wizard but neither are any longer available!) When you get to that bit, install the Supreme Builds Wizard http://repo.supremebuilds.com then install the wizard You can use any of those builds though I prefer Titanium, then modify the headings & add-ons to your own preferences It definitely works well though the Kodi icon gets changed to the Geico icon"

happygilmore 10:19 Wed Apr 11 Kodi v17+ requires Android 5.0 or higher. 'fraid you'll have to stick with v16 or buy a new box.
