Far Cough~ Good innit! I saw someone on FB recommended it & thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did! You can use it with SS or maniacs I prefer the former though. Perfect!

East Auckland Hammer~ Sincere apologies! I was thinking about the settings on Smarters which I use for maniacs I don't think you can change the player settings on XCIPTV

I might have misunderstood what jack was saying, because I know you need to change those settings for SS when you're using Smarters Pro, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do it in XCIPTV. Either way, I was able to bump mu display settings up to 4k 60hz refresh rate when using XCIPTV on the new server. Will try playing around with the same server on Smarters tonight."

"Lomas, I can only tell you how to enable hardware encoding in Windows, it's tools / preferences / input codecs / codecs / hardware encoding, mine was already set to automatic, should be somewhat similar in the Android version of VLC"

You just have to put in the address, name & password as you do with Smarters I saw it somewhere & tried it In settings I use VLC instead of the default player & set it for hardware encoding rather than software It's absolutely perfect every time! "If you're using SS, I find it works best as a stand alone rather than in Kodi Also rather than Smarters I use XCIPTV off Google Play. It knocks spots off Smarters, it really does!"
