"Johnson, you can't beat SS new one called TIW, has a built in VPN, and I use XCIPTV as my front end"
Re: Kodi XBMC
What's the best IPTV and VPN combo about at the moment or is it worth waiting till the season starts. I could probably do with a new box too as my AFTV is 1st Gen so probably bit past it now and my TV is an old LG too.

"As an example, pirated music is much less a thing now since Spotify and other streaming platforms are relatively low cost for high volume content. Media companies need to go 'long tail revenue' (lots of people each paying a small amount) rather than far less people all paying more. By doing so they'd reach more eyeballs, be able to charge more for their advertising and make up what they lose per subscription in having more subscriptions."
Re: Kodi XBMC
"Whilst the matches are made available outside the UK to online platforms, it will be next to impossible to shut them down conclusively I'd have thought, since a VPN will always disguise the nature of the traffic and the source, and someone looking to take advantage will always find a way. If you look at the history of 'pirate TV': - Originally you had de-coders that plugged in to the sat boxes/cable boxes and descrambled the signal - Then came card sharing boxes where the descrambling was centralised and the clear signal then distributed - Now there is IPTV & VPN Where there is a market, there will be a way. That's the nature of the beast. It will only stop when all games are made available to all markets at a cost which does not form a sizeable barrier of entry to the market (e.g. All West Ham games available PPV for £5.00 per game, or some such). All in my opinion of course."

Re: Kodi XBMC
loads of talk of shutting down PL streaming. Possible? or just the usual pre-season scaremongering? and just temporary interruptions until alternatives are found

Re: Kodi XBMC
What are decent Kodi add-ons nowadays for live football and flicks? I used to use Rising Tides and 13 Clowns respectively but I think they're now fucked.

"Not Kodi related, but rather than start a new thread, I believe if anyone has the solution they will be on this thread. I did a reset on my Lenovo tablet. Problem now is I can't remember the Gmail account that was sycned originally and I can't bypass that to log in. I don't really use Gmail and would have made up a random available user name for Gmail. None of the suggested solutions I googled work."

"Express VPN but if you're using the new TIW on SS, you don't need one as it has one built in"

"Although I'm loathe to help you Johnson, because I think you're a fucking dick, BEIN Sports don't have the NZ rights to the Premier League next season."
Re: Kodi XBMC
"SS is going to be only TIW, so get yourselves changed over oh and you don't need a VPN as it's built in but it will be useful as a backup"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"Has anyone tried the BeIN NZ monthly sub rouse? It’s a tenner a month pretty much plus a VPN, is happily pay that for all the games. I haven’t got round to trying it yet, apparently there’s no address checker so a VPN does the job."
