Alan 2:32 Fri Sep 2 That’s interesting what you say about Sky blocking your IPTV for football. Have you tried turning off the sky BB shield? Worth a look. https://techxpert.co.uk/broadband/guides/sky-broadband-shield

"ted fenton 2:18 Fri Sep 2 ""Yes Alan most of the box sets we watch are on Kodi but can sometimes play up"" Are you using Real-Debrid. If yes, you don't need a VPN for that and it shouldn't buffer. Are you watching football via your IPTV service? Problems with that could be the source or your ISP. My gf has Sky and every time we try to watch football via her IPTV, Sky put the block on. We have to use Nord VPN using one of their obfuscated servers."

"Go with Nord VPN, Ted. 70 odd quid for 2 years and I think you’ll get 3 months free. Can use it on 6 devices at once. Used it for 3 years and been excellent value."

Yes Alan most of the box sets we watch are on Kodi but can sometimes play up plus the football I watch in bed also. I read that a good VPN will give you trouble free viewing and up to 4k films.

So I'm finally getting a VPN because although I love my loaded Firestick we still use KODI both in the lounge and bedroom ! I thought it was just the case of subscribing to a provider and away we go but it seems a bit more technical than that. Any advice appreciated.

I’ve always had my account details on the firestick. Providing you adjust all the right background settings like not tracking app usage etc it should be ok.

happygilmore 12:51 Tue Apr 19 I’ve never had a VPN RD is a must as far as I’m concerned the quality of links is outstanding. Also a lot of add ons are not coming up with ‘free links’ If sky are blocking you through their BB might be worth going into your sky BB account and turning off the filter

"happygilmore 12:51 Tue Apr 19 ""I have a Real-Debrid account. Should I invest in a VPN?"" If you're just watching stuff via Debrid you don't need a VPN. If you have Sky (say) and they're blocking your IPTV then get a sub for Nord. Nord can also let you access the Netflix USA service from the UK."
