This has got Moyes tactical fuck up written all over it. On paper we should cope with them easily but as we know West Ham and football in general doesn't work like that. This is like drawing lower league opposition in the FA cup quarter finals, you ought to win but nobody wants you to.

Hartson had a spell there. Pre Arsenal That Scott Oakes game Mick Harford. Airport. It isn't London. Harlington Flitwick and Bedford. I once slept on a train out of London. Went straight through Luton thankfully. Not much to say about Luton. But football wise they look direct and will be improving game on game. They don't or can't play possession. So expect a lot of up and down. They'll be hard to break down and a very different test to our last 2 games. Does Moyes have a plan B? I doubt we'll see any changes. One of that will matter. We've got the quality. 1 - 3 to us. Keep it tight at the back, a disciplined attacking performance, ball in the right areas consistently and quality will tell. Irons!!!

An irrational hatred of Luton (absolutely) My main memory of them is getting spanked 3.0 at Upton park in a league cup semi 1st leg on a Sunday afternoon and getting pissed in the Wentworth arms after. A horrible side that one with the headbanded thug Steve Foster and Mick Hartford elbowing and headbutting at will with the red to shit scared to show a card. This is an absolute banana skin. They will be right up for it as their first home PL match. Might get the rub of the green from the officials and will have all the neutrals on their side etc etc. That said, our confidence should be sky high and although they will be brave as they have in the first two games, we should have far too much for them and be able to murder them on the break.
