Confirmed: Carlos Soler to West Ham, here we go! Loan deal with buy option clause agreed with PSG.

West Ham will cover the salary as part of the agreement. Soler travelling to London for medical tests.

Ward-Prowse leaves West Ham and joins Nottingham Forest.

Never liked Bowen as a centre forward but it is my preferred option now. If the two holding midfielders play with Paqueta centrally it might be the best option. I am hoping that Andy Fullkrug will get up to speed and look the part.

Until we see a midfield without Soucek and / or JWP, no real progression is possible imo

I undersrand why Loppy has not done so yet ( new players, ensuring squad togetherness etc) but until these 2 are gone or on the subs bench the whole team dynamic will not change.

Was reading this morning that Wolves want to take Aguerd on loan & for us to subsidise his £90k wages
Presumed he wanted to leave the EPL so why would he go there ….. believe he turned down a German move last week
Secondly if Wolves want him they can give us the Kilman money

Loppy’s chosen midfield so far has looked shit, not seen enough of Soler to say if he’s the one that will consolidate it but anything has to be better than Soucek and WP. Think maybe the Duran ship has sailed but who knows?
If correct that we’ve to sell before we can bring anybody in, I wouldn’t lose a minutes sleep if any of Coufal, Mavro, Aguerd, Cresswell, Soucek, JWP, Cornet, Ings or Antonio went.
Only Johnson and maybe Zouma gone? Moyes, who had full control, really did assemble a class squad that is so old, overpaid and unable to pass a ball that any other team is even interested in.
All the business we’ve done has been a breath of fresh air but fuck me you could start a blaze with all that dead wood.
Bonfire nights coming so hopefully dead wood is in demand.

Those 5 players cost us about £90m, and we won’t be getting much change for them. We are so bad at business, even Saudi clubs pull our pants down.

At least we don’t spend high transfer fees and give out long contracts to past it players any more.
