Tim Steidten - Confirmed
"OS Tim Steidten appointed West Ham United Technical Director West Ham United is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Steidten as the Club’s Technical Director. Steidten will be responsible for the Club's overarching player recruitment strategy and scouting department, working closely with Manager David Moyes and Sporting Director Mark Noble. The Technical Director role has been implemented as part of the Club’s continued growth strategy and comes at a key moment in West Ham United’s history, with the Hammers’ victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League earlier this month securing a third successive season in European competition. One of the game’s most-admired football administrators, 44-year-old Steidten brings his own added experience of European football to East London, having previously fulfilled a similar role with Bayer 04 Leverkusen in his native Germany, at a time when the Hammers are enjoying a sustained period of success at both first team and Academy level. Arriving at Leverkusen from Werder Bremen in June 2019, Steidten was responsible for overseeing a pivotal period in the Club’s history, with his data-led approach to scouting yielding some immediate positive results in the transfer market, recruiting a number of unheralded gems, before nurturing them into highly-coveted stars. His arrival is set to complement the strong existing UEFA Europa Conference League winning squad on and off the pitch, with further significant experience and expertise. Moyes said: “On behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to welcome Tim to the West Ham United family. He has a strong track record in elite level football and we’re really looking forward to working with him.” Joint-Chair David Sullivan said: “Our goal when we became custodians of West Ham United and moved to London Stadium was to bring silverware to this incredible Club and to regularly compete in European football. We’ve enjoyed some fantastic times in recent seasons, and we aim to continue to grow and evolve across all areas of the Club. Tim’s appointment is key to our wider plans to drive our football strategy forward. We are delighted to welcome such a well-respected name in the game to the Club.” Steidten said: “I am extremely proud to be joining West Ham United, at such an exciting time in this Club’s incredible history. Building on the Club’s recent European success, there is already a fantastic team in place, but also so much ambition – from the Board, the Manager, his staff and the players – to continue succeeding, developing and growing. I cannot wait to play a key part in that. Come on you Irons!”"

Probably behind most of the on-pitch positive vibe at the moment. Moyes probably hates him.

"It is very tedious how slow we are with transfers, but I think it's way too early to judge this Steidten guy. That Newman has been a waste of space."

Re: Tim Steidten - Confirmed
Completely laughable bringing this bloke in and then letting Moyes control the transfers. Newman was brought in and everything he put forward was completely ignored by the manager. Looks like now exactly the same is happening with the German. What the fuck do you need to hire a bloke on massive dough for if you are just going to try and sign players that have played well in the premier league like paulinha and JWP it’s fucking embarrassing this bloke must wonder what kind of absolute shit show he’s signed up to. Newman told somebody I know over a year ago that there was no point in him being at the club as everybody he recommends Moyes just says no. I think we are truly fucked this summer

Looks like Newman is out of a job. Sullivan and Morey scapegoat for some of the money wasted on players sitting on the bench ( Yes I know that was Moyes but he won a cup and Newman didn't)

"LJC I'm not trying anything pal. I'm giving you back the shit you love to dish out. Lee was evidenced as a liar so it wasn't a joke except to deluded twats like you that have to belong to the 'WHO in crowd' and make up an untrue reality. You, goose, Snide and Lee Trundle jumped all over me because I said that Sullivan and Moyes going was ""wishful thinking"" and not to be counted on at that time. That is how it turned out. Yet it took several pages of your group abuse and ridicule of a fellow supporter of WHU because you were all convinced that Moyes and Sullivan would be gone by now. And when logic failed the usual happened and I got accused of being a rapist again for the umpteenth time in the last 10 fuckjing years. You lot just can't ever admit to being wrong is the problem. Grow up you daft old sod. You're nothing more than a trolling wanker that doesn't like it when it gets returned.. Now the deviation is that I don't know the difference between a CB and a DM when you do know that a DM is also a defender don't you? And understanding how accusations of rape are made is not taking part nor saying that it was right. You dirty minded losers made that up because again you were fucking wrong. The bloke in question was found to be innocent of rape. Now fuck off back under your stone and bother someone else.... . ."
Re: Tim Steidten - Confirmed
"Willtell, you tried this with Lee trundle earlier and showed yourself up. Honest question, do you know that people on this site think you’re a joke poster? And I’m not trying to get into a back and forth I just want to know the answer to that one question. There is no way someone can be as thick as you, going on about how you can see how people can carry out rape and then banging on about rice being a defender and not knowing the difference between a cb and defensive mid."
Re: Tim Steidten - Confirmed
Don't be too hard on LJC Manuel. It's hard enough being as stupid as he is and saying things like the following exchange back in February..... Willtell 6:58 Tue Feb 28 Re: Moyes Out Expecting Sullivan will sell and Kretinsky will buy then sack Moyes is just wishful thinking… LJC 11:50 Thu Mar 2 Re: Moyes Out Willtell 6:58 Tue Feb 28 Re: Moyes Out How on earth is that wishful thinking?? That is exactly what is expected with every evidence pointing in that direction. A couple of examples being...and so on and on... Willtell 12:48 Thu Mar 2 Re: Moyes Out LJC Well I hope it does happen too but it’s wishful thinking for three things to happen. 1. Sullivan to sell when he’s denied it and wants his sons to take over. 2. Kretinsky needs to spend several millions to buy WHU which could be wasted if relegation happens 3. If 1. & 2. happen surely it means we’ve done better on the run in and Kretinsky may well decide to stick with Moyes. Especially if we win Conference and win more games in the run in. Moyes might still go but I think my interpretation of the situation in February this year was far more accurate so God knows how dumb LJC must be...
