OK.let us make this easy for you to understand Just because something was covered up.in the 70s does not mean a similar crime ( if one has been committed).is being covered covered up now. The BBC could not afford the kind of scandal.now and times have changed. Plus the parents of the person in question would tell.the press if they thought a cover up.was being done. How do we know this presenter isn't being blackmailed ? Large sums of money paid at different intervals in return for a few dodgy snaps ? It could well be the parents are having the wool pulled over their eyes here or maybe providing the offspring with a get out clause if the celeb has threatened to go to the old bill. If exposed in the current climate it's career over so plenty of scope for blackmail.
