Also turns out the sex worker told the sun before they published the allegations that it was all bollocks and they still published it. Without mentioning in the article what the man had told them. Great journalism … let’s not even allow comment from the key person in the story! And the mum went to police first who basically just laughed and then went to the bbc to try to get them to do something about it. Finally going to the sun when the bbc didn’t act (like what can they actually do? It’s not illegal to pay for an online sex worker is it ?? I don’t know). There are some seriously idiotic editorial staff at the sun. I think this ends up costing them tons and perhaps the departure of an editor that let this story run.
