Hamas attack Israel
"Or should i say they are attacking to get THEIR land back. Good luck to them. The World will watch and do nothing to help them as they always do, shame on us."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
Most Muslim states seem to treat the Pallies like pikies - they are not a fortunate ethnic group and it shows in Hamas’s charter.
Re: Hamas attack Israel
J Riddle You probably know the answer to this but its because they do not care about their welfare. By keeping the Palestinian issue alive it gives these countries a ''legitimate' stick to beat Israel with on the world scene. It would make the most sense for Egypt to control Gaza not Israel. But the Egypitans do not want to know.

"Why haven't the oil rich Saudis, Qataris, Kuwaitis et al invested/helped their Palestinian Muslim brothers instead of buying Northern football clubs and spending insane amounts of money on buying up PCL property."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
… especially tricky if we allow the Hamas charter to frame our relations with the next Muslim who happens to hove into view.
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Really? Having perhaps reflected on it, would you still say that is a sensible way of approaching the situation? As Hamas's charter says ""Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it,"" makes approaching the situation, any other way, rather tricky"

"“Hamas want to destroy all Jews” Really? Having perhaps reflected on it, would you still say that is a sensible way of approaching the situation?"
Re: Hamas attack Israel
No matter what your politics surely no-one can support this? https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/family-of-five-murdered-by-hamas-as-total-death-toll-in-israel-reaches-900/ar-AA1hWsci?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=e235289b040341c2863423557fe5142f&ei=9

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Spot on mad dog. Hamas want to destroy all Jews, territory has nothing to do with it. If Israel gave them what they wanted they would still cause atrocities."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Tony Blair has been a peace envoy for the area for years His magic just didn't work but be sure he put in his expenses in each month.

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"eh? Surely the biggest hurdle will be Hamas, seeing as all they want is the destruction of JEWS?"
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"I suspect we are all agreed that only a negotiated political solution will bring a final peace to this conflict. Israel will not accept some solutions, just as Hamas won't. If the UN decided that Israel should be dissolved (its been only been in existence less than 80 years) and a new state called Palisrael formed, where Arabs and Jews are equal, I can't see the Israeli's taking that."

You can’t destroy Hamas just like you can’t destroy the Taliban…it’s just a name for extreme islamists….

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"I suspect we are all agreed that only a negotiated political solution will bring a final peace to this conflict. It cannot be solved by a military victory alone, however powerful. The problem is that one of the actors in this drama does not want a negotiated settlement and that actor is Hamas. They were created and exist for one purpose only - the destruction of Jews and the Islamification of the whole of Israel. Not just the occupied territories, not just the areas beyond the 1967 borders, but all of it - every last square inch. And for this reason until Hamas is taken out of the equation and more rational Palestinian voices get heard there can be no resolution. Israel should have bitten the bullet on this years ago, but fear of world opinion and pressure from the US always deterred them. This time it may be different. Hamas needs to be effectively destroyed, even if carnage is the price to be paid. Israel has been shocked into accepting this and the dye is caste. We have to hope that political heads will step into the aftermath and deliver a peace that both peoples so desperately need and deserve."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Sorry but I've gotta call out westham67 and a fee others on this. If you support hamas you are a cսnt That is different to supporting the Palestinian cause, which I would understand. Hamas are terrorists deliberately targeting and killing innocent civilians and if you support that you are despicable."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"I think that probably comes down the road a bit. Right now it’s about the attack, it will soon be about the carnage that’s going to happen in Gaza, it’s not as though people aren’t aware that there are two sides to this. Right now the focus, rightly,is on the slaughter of the past few days."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Is it possible to not get a non-biased view of this situation? AJ are obviously gonna give a wider view of the conflict as opposed to Arabs-bad which is happening now. Every news station is showing the deaths caused by the Hamas terrorists, but I’ve not seen any context or mention of the tens of thousands of Palestinian deaths as reported by the UN. Gaza is about to get obliterated in response, as you would expect. But the Israeli defence minister called ALL Palestinians “animals” as he prepares to starve them out. Not seen this reported on the BBC or CNN. Just need to read it all, I suppose, and see what makes sense."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Denying Hamas access to their own magic money tree would be a good start, as they clearly don't use the harvest for the benefit of the communities that elected them. And, striking while I've got a link up - the Israelis won't take any old military shit - unlike the Ukraine, who have been a dumping ground for weapons mothballed for years by the donating nations and see it as a better option than paying eternal storage charges. They'll want (and get) all the shiny new stuff in the shop. That means the western (US/EU) industrio-military faction gets to ramp up production - at taxpayers expense - once again; convenient now that Covid has been effectively blown out of the water."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Yes, you know slops, the specific plans the military prepare should they need to rapidly react to a geopolitical events. Go look up contingency. No surprise that the usual hysterical twats are more concerned about money that hasn’t even been touched yet than the massive breach of US national security. Sad that this is the first thing they reach for in this is an attack on their own leaders."
