"I would tend to agree: For the left, Palestine = Hamas, Hamas = Palestine, They cannot differentiate and separate the two under fear of admitting they've been backing the wrong horse all along. For the hard of thinking, the other horse in the race is not Israel: the two horses are Palestine & Hamas."

Leavemyarcelona 4:57 Sat Oct 14 Hammer and Pickle once said he‚Äôd prefer the rapist of his own children to someone holding a different political point of view to him. I don‚Äôt know why people think they can convince a deviant as warped as that of anything. Just abuse the long necked paedo loving poncing Nazi cսnt.

"You asked why the media haven’t piped up, to ask why Saudi Arabia and others nearby, haven’t been mentioned as a place of refuge. My guess is that it’s because nobody in the media has thought of that, what with the small point being that the people concerned do not want to abandon their country. Who knows though, maybe you could be onto something here, something that is so unusual that nobody else has thought of it? Perhaps you could bypass the media, who’ve been so mute on this point, and get straight on the blower to the UN?"

"This has certainly exposed the left and do called Anti racist groups? Socialist Workers Party: ""Rejoice as Palestinian resistance humiliates racist israel"" So the left are justifying Hamas. The socialist workers party postured against ""fascism"" for decades. They set up the ""Anti-Nazi league"" in the 70s. They marched against the ""neo-fascist"" right. Their members held up placards saying ""never again"". And yet when the pogrom returned, they said ""rejoice"". When more than a thousand jews and non jews were butchered by racist Islamists, they celebrated it as being ""humbling"". When *it* happened again, they have said good. There's no coming back from this for the left. They stand exposed as fellow travelers of barbarism. It's over"

"When you look at how Muslims are treated by their own you have to wonder what is it that keeps them so fanatical to their own oppression? It really is a fucking miserable way to live in these countries, Look at how these countries govern their people. Yet, so many people are so quick to defend and stand up for these evil bastards? It is hard to understand where this tolerance comes from. You have to be a bit of a thick cսnt to have any sympathy and empathy for anyone but the Jews. Imagine bordering the likes of Hamas, And Hezbollah, or even the Taliban, Iranian National Guard, Isis, In fact any country lead by an Ayatollah. It would be a fucking nightmare, especially if you‚Äôre a Jew. You are surrounded by people that all want you dead, imagine if Israel loses and the country falls into Muslim control? ( won‚Äôt happen unless you let it) For this reason you have to realize and understand the gravity of the situation for Jewish people, don‚Äôt you? How do you manage these neighbours they only understand and conform to Oppression. Show any type of charity or tolerance and they see it as weakness. It doesn‚Äôt matter what Israel offers up in any peace offering, it will still be a Nation surrounded by a bunch of primitive, brainwashed thick cunts who will want them dead."

"WHU(Exeter) 5:18 Sat Oct 14 Small point of order here. I never said that the Saudi's should be forced to take the residents of Gaza in, I simply pointed out that they have the infrastructure in place to accommodate them (on a temporary basis). I would have thought it an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the fabled Muslim charity to the world - unless that only comes out during Ramadan/the Haj."

"Nah, I think you and Willtell have clinched it Mike. Who knew before, that this has got nothing to do with religion, that Jews are Christians and that Saudi Arabia should be forced to take in 2 million people, who don’t actually want to move? That must be all bases covered with this now?"

"The Germans thought Hitler was doing the right thing at the time and they either didn't know about the atrocities being committed or willfully ignored them. Today though, with the evidence there for all to see in real time, the complicity of some otherwise level headed people who still believe this is justifiable is astounding."

"It was H&P who decided to shoe-horn the EU onto this thread. Presumably because if the world follows their grand examples, it could even put an end to the worlds problems, including this current horrible one. Turns out though, that even countries like Tunisia don’t want to know."

Is this thread moving away from it's original topic on account of certain people clearly being unable to claim the position of subject matter expert on the conflicts and tensions in & around Israel?

I'd have a little more sympathy for the cause of the protesters' if there was as much anti-Hamas content as there was pro-Palistinian.

"OK, so what I've been reading has been all about the typical issues that cooperating with this kind of regime raises - nothing there about ""EU companies"" taking advantage and a lot about the Tunisian officials abusing their own people. https://ecre.org/eu-external-partners-tunisia-rejects-eu-funding-casting-doubt-on-deal-as-reports-of-abuse-continue-to-mount-new-attack-by-so-called-libyan-coast-guard/ https://www.thenationalnews.com/mena/tunisia/2023/09/22/tunisian-farmers-pay-the-price-for-europes-attempts-at-energy-transition/"
