"Poor old Solidbond he is desperately trying to find a word he can brandish to make it appear that those who support Israel are bad. So far we’ve had Zionist and Far right. Beats the usual lazy “Racist” label I suppose. Unfortunately for Solidbond we have more powerful labels for him such as “Anti Semite”and “Terrorist.” To be fair he cares as much about the labels we use as we cares about the labels he uses. However to sit here and say that the Palestinians don’t support Hamas, )the only group that appears to fight back on their behalf) is fucking ridiculous. If we are being honest you’d say a vast majority of adult men and women in Gaza and the West Bank who consider themselves Palestinians support Hamas. So stop the madness. There is a good reason why the Jews won’t allow a Palestinian state on their border and we have all just witnessed it with our own eyes. What possessive me off is that the American tax payer has to pony up 100 million dollars now for aid to the Palestinians. It never fucking ends. I know 100 million Isn’t a lot in todays world but We all know there will be more to follow. Shocking how much chaos we have seen in the world these last 3 years. Wonder what happened?"

"Given the chaos and carnage at the hospital bomb site, I can't believe any forensic investigation has been carried out, by anybody, on what type of bomb was used. Especially so quickly. Unless a weapons experts, saw it in freefall and identified it, just before impact. I doubt the Palestinians, even have a forensic bomb blast investigation capacity."

"more - The small size of the open area where the explosion occurred, coupled with limited shock-wave damage, was inconsistent with the death toll claimed by the Palestinian Health Ministry, several open-source intelligence analysts said. Photos and videos taken at the site of the blast show a very shallow crater in the parking lot outside, and that the hospital compound’s buildings hadn’t sustained major damage."

"Solid - I think you may have been had there. Got a link to where the WSJ says that - as it's not what is on the site. “We have none of the indicators of an airstrike—none,” said Michael Knights of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, an expert on military and security issues. YOU MAY ALSO LIKE TAP FOR SOUND Photo: Motaz Azaiza The U.S. has collected “high confidence” signals intelligence, which includes electronic surveillance, indicating that the blast at the hospital in Gaza was caused by the militant group Palestinian Islamic Jihad, U.S. officials said, buttressing Israel’s contention that it wasn’t responsible for the blast. A video verified by The Wall Street Journal recorded a shrieking sound and the explosion that followed."

Were they trying to overturn an election result they didn’t like? Why are you suddenly not talking about the bombed-out hospital?

The Wall Street journal: The bomb dropped on the hospital was an American. MK-84 bomb. This precision guided bomb is the largest in the MK family and weighs 950kg. It can only be deployed from a plane and Hamas doesn’t have any. Shame on Israel & America

"360 Of course a nonsense populist slogan like “Israel stole Palestine” is going to get us nowhere as a starting point. However, a starting point that involves a readiness to restore the legal order is a different, and entirely pragmatic, matter."

"The sad thing about all of this is that all the “I’m new to this crisis, where do I sign up” mob on the internet who love to simplify everything, now think it’s just about resolving a core issue: Israel stole Palestine. And they will now not rest until that event is undone. Which means the world is now stuck with a no compromise situation emboldened by millions of new supporters. Supporters from afar that can afford to wave flags and shit because they actually aren’t in harms way. This is the thing that annoys me about the far left view on things. It feels completely opposed to any pragmatic endpoint. I feel like it deliberately asks for things that are unlikely to happen. It’s mentally perverse. It never can achieve what its central goal should be, I.e. improving lives because it’s can’t get past its own puritanical view of every situation. That’s why I feel sorry for the people in Palestine. You know how it’s going to turn out for them. And you know the far left are actually throwing fuel on the fire more than they realise. With, no skin in the game."

"The way to resolve this is the way always available to those who want a resolution. Talk to the people interested in going about their daily lives in a normal manner. That means the institutions of the law and those representing them are the first port of call. There where those are too weak, it’s civil society and the people ready to take responsibility for their communities who are the partners. The political position is its people’s normal lives that count, the law and the institutions that provide it. All forms of terrorism are of course designed to prevent this kind of course from being pursued with vigour and commitment."

Queens fish According to the last poll I saw (2021) around 60% of Palestinians in Gaza supported Hamas. I think people always feel that terrioists exist in a vacuum. Terrorists generally have a lot of support otherwise they can’t function. It doesn’t mean everyone agrees. But broadly there is support for Hamas. And that’s understandable. I’m not saying if I were there I wouldn’t want to Israel wiped out. Probably would if it were me. But the issue is they aren’t going to get that. So they need to decide what the next best thing is. And they just seem not to budge on it.
