"It always makes me chuckle when people and especially people of colour , like Suella Braverman, for example say multiculturalism.doesn't work. Her parents were economic migrants, she is married to a Jew and is in a government with the country's first Hindu pm....but oh yeah multi cultural is shit because if you believe it works then it undermines the threat that some want you to believe it poses."

Joyo sweeping generalisations about entire ethnicities of people should make anyone uncomfortable and has historically never turned out great. Unless of course we are talking about a dislike of the Welsh and their close harmony singing.....( swtoc)

"Clealry a dangerous rehtoric and one which I disagree with completely, but what has Murray said in particular that shows he is a believer/promoter of this conspiracy theory? From this interviews, I have seen he has been critical of the West on certain aspects of immigration and mentioned in some interviews that he thinks multiculturalism is not working and can improve. But nothing that made me think he is a loon. Also, it's quite an anti-semetic theory and he by all accounts looks like he is a big supporter of the only Jewish state."

"It would certainly take a clown to suggest that if you were a child growing up in Gaza, and most of your family and friends had either been killed or maimed by the Israeli army, you would need to be brainwashed at school to hate Israel. You need to realise that you are a fanatic extremist."

"The conspiracy theory fosters the belief that leftist and Jewish elites are engineering the ethnic and cultural replacement of white populations with non-white immigrants that will lead to a ""white genocide."" According to this belief, the cabal of political and business elite would be kept in power by the masses of indebted non-whites. From Reuters"

"Debs That's an interesting take, I haven't come across that to date and the interviews I have seen haven't suggested he's a racist. I ordered his book recently called a 'War on the West' so I guess I will see how I feel about him after that. On the interview itself with Morgan, I did agree with the majority of things he said."

"Darlo Debs 2:17 Thu Nov 9 Out of curiosity, what is it that Douglas Murray has said that you disagree with or think what he says is a conspiracy theory? Mike Oxsaw 2:48 Thu Nov 9 I agree Mike, its all about education. You just have to look at the school books of the children in Gaza to see they are being brainwashed at a young age to want to kill Jews. That will clearly need to change to achieve peace. zico 4:14 Thu Nov 9 I had a quick google and could find one of them - who has appeared in other papers recently Muhammad Kathem Sawalha. I am assuming he is correct about the others as well. Can't say I am shocked. Hammer and Pickle 3:21 Thu Nov 9 Clown"

"Anyone know if this is true? ""6 campaign groups are organising the march. Leaders in 4 of them the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Friends of al-Aqsa, the Muslim Association of Britain and the Palestinian Forum for Britain had apparent ties with Hamas or have expressed sympathy for its views."""

Willtell I have no doubt there are Palestinians who.hate Jews obviously there are but if we keep.making tbe assumption that all Jews hate Palestinians ( they dont) and all.Palestinians hate all Jews ( they dont) peace can never happen. This hawk language on either side just doesn't help. Mike is part right....education will definitely be key going forward.. but what is needed are calm.heads with influence and realistically right now that will have to come from outside Israel.

"“Morgan makes a very valid point there is a huge danger of Israel being HAMAS's best recruiting tool it’s a fact that hate causes many problems but is yet to actually solve any.” Not exactly rocket science, is it. Nor is recognising the IDF’s operational objectives of wiping out Hamas and freeing the hostages are mutually contradictory. Add to that the total lack of any consideration of how Gaza is to be administered in the long term and what we have is the perfect extremist disaster scenario extended over years if not decades."

This is about two religions wanting control of Jerusalem…..you’ll have to get rid of the religions before there is peace….that ain’t going to happen….

The video of Piers Morgan being corrected by the journalist was very much to the point comparing Gaza residents to being worse than the Nazis. He said that Gaza residents were cheering Hamas on when they dragged a raped woman hostage naked through the streets before executing her and cutting her head off. Then the story of the Gaza lad that happily called to tell his mother how he had killed 10 Jews... I don't think I would bother about Gaza residents too much if I lived next door to Palestine...

"The way, probably the only way, to break the long term cycle of hate is to properly educate the next generation - on BOTH sides of the conflict - the reason why it's happening (again & again) and try to guide them into thinking about peaceful solutions. Again, that's BOTH sides, and to be non-selective about such education... ...""The Israelis call us cunts because""... and ""Hamas/Palestinians call us cunts because""... At the moment with the current generation (which includes everybody of Secondary/High school age and above) will already have a virtually immobile mindset on the issue, and although there will be a few willing to consider seeking a peaceful resolution, they will get drowned out/topped off by the majority who want a win at any cost for their ""very reasonable"", in their minds, reasons. Easy and/or instant it will not be."

"That’s the problem Debs, I’m not sure Israeli brutality does anything more than give them a sense of revenge. Hardly sets the stage for long-term peace. Having said that I’m not sure there’s much else they can do given the scale of the attack and the clear desire for war that it expressed. Can only hope Hamas is at least superficially eliminated quickly."

Not sure we should be taking much notice of too much of what Douglas Murray is saying. Someone peddling conspiracy theories is not what is needed right now and tbe one he peddles might be about Islam now but the exact same theories have been peddled about Jews .. pitting people against eachother ks dangerous no matter what side it comes from. Morgan makes a very valid point there is a huge danger of Israel being HAMAS's best recruiting tool its a fact that hate causes many problems but is yet to actually solve any.
