Re: Hamas attack Israel
Any videos or proofs of Douglas Murray’s claims re violation of female by Gazans…?.? ? Or yet another of his invented anti Muslim tirades… Crazy book re death of Europe…
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Has anyone (apart from rios) read any of Murrays books? To suggest he is in any way a conspiracy theorist is beyond daft.

"You seem upset about all the cool, open-minded people setting the standard in an open society like the UK’s, Edward. Come to Poland, the priests, reactionaries and racist malcontents here could use any support they can get as they lurch from one humiliation to another."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
You've clearly pointed out why it works for one side. How about for the indigenous people of a country that's been subjected to it?

"Eerie I have clearly shown some exambles of why it works .....maybe you can tell me why some people keep.claiming it doesn't. Rios the author also refutes some of Murrays so called facts, and are you suggesting that a man of Pakistani origin has no authority to challenge these :""facts'? Who.would you say would have?"

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Actually, I have a lot of admiration for Israel and its people. I admire their sense of collective responsibility for their country, their engagement in civil society, their support of its institutions, hard work and resilience. And that is also why I am so appalled by Netanyahu, Ben-Gwir and the unholy alliance between party politics and the religious fundamentalists driving Likud. They they are bent on imposing what they regard as rule by “God’s Law” and would have been an anachronism even at the time of the Emperor Augustus."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Its painful H&P. Sometimes you make posts like Ben Gvir and I think, yes you know what I agree with you there he's a wrong-un. But you just ignore everything else as you don't have an answer but want to bash Israel at every moment you can and blame them for everything. Capitol Man 6:11 Thu Nov 9 Re: Hamas attack Israel I would say its a mixture of fear, Hamas killing their political opponents and people actually supporting their policies of wiping Israel off the map and no two state solution. What do you think?"

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Darlo Debs 5:35 Thu Nov 9 Remarkable article. In a review of Murray's book, he gets 'far-right' in the headline, mentions Viktor Orban twice (to describe him as authoritarian and a demagogue), hails his own pakistani background and doesn't really deal with the intellectual premise of the book. I read the book, nobody can read it and say they enjoyed it, there are far too many uncomfortable facts in it which Murray draws quite frightening conclusions from. But it is a well-written book. I'd suggest you read it Debs, then give us your own opinion on it."

"Absolutely not. If it was up to me, fanatics like Ben-Gvir would be serving time rather than dictating Israeli policy, effectively holding all its people to ransom."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Thanks Deb - good to get a grown up conversation on here unlike the one I have with H&P H&P I think it's time the Palestinians started to take responsibility for their own actions and the people who represent them. Just look at the net worth of their current leaders and where they live. People like you who make excuses for them are part of the problem, and they will never move on and try better their lives. It's very easy to keep blaming Israel when in reality, most conflicts have been started by the surrounding Arab nations or Palestinians since 1948. They just have never won or liked the outcome. They still call all the civilians in Gaza refugees after however many years of self-governance, their mindset needs to change. The Arab world has given up with them, albeit they never really gave a fuck about them in the first place. Hence, why they are refugees in the surrounding arab states and Jordan and Egypt never gave them a state when they ruled Gaza and the West Bank. If it was up to you, Palestinians would be able to freely attack Israel time and time again with no repercussion. It is clown behaviour you are demonstrating time and time again with your posts."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
Indeed debs. And the timing of the Hamas attack indicates it realised its window of opportunity was closing as Likud was about to become isolated in Israel.

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Hammer & Pickle Baronness Warsi has rightly.pointed out how Netanyahu's government tried to pretend it sided with hsmas to create division among Palestinians. In GAZA snd the West Bank A decent government would have worked to drive a wedge between all Palestinians and HAMAS, leaving HAMAS isolated"
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"There is no doubt that the Israeli with capabilites will succeed. People suggesting the in the long term it will just radicaiise the remaining palistinians. Look what happen after what we did Dresden in world war2 shortly before the end of war. 20, 000 + German prisoners of war chose to stay live in the uk and build a new life for them selves."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Cut the bullshit, Spaz My argument throughout this thread is about the State of Israel's responsibility for Palestinian terrorism and turning the whole Palestinian Autonomy into a vast breeding ground for terrorism. I made it again again at 3:21 and all you could do was react with one word. You are a brainwashed fanatic, Spaz; the rubbish you post about how German education ought to be a model for Palestinians because that would teach them tolerance is proof. You sick fuck."

"Debs I agree, in the whole I think it does work. Certain parts of every group let the majority down though - which people like to exploit. If you got an example of him sprouting that conspiracy nonsense then i would be interested in seeing it."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
H&P Why are you putting words into my mouth you weirdo? You literally offer no coherent argument throughout this thread. It's all about education. Look at Germany and Israel's alliance now. Who would have thought that back in the 30's and 40's Germany would be a big supporter of the only Jewish state. They re-educated themselves and have come out the other side better for it. If you had a half decent education you may understand.
